I’ve been looking to grow some amnesia for a while now but its never made it into my lineup. Well now I’m growing a Super Strains Amnesia. I fully expect her to live up to the super part! Well she’s really off to a great start!
I had the light a little too high for the amnesia and she stretched too much. I made a cast from a 2 ounce plastic cup to support her. By the end of the week she was standing on her own.
She’s looking really good. She starting to put on her third true leaves. I got a new light it’s a 5000k cxb3590 cob. I can already tell I’m gonna have to play with the intensity on this thing because the internodal distances are so tight with it.
She is showing a magnesium deficiency I forgot that aqua flakes doesn’t have enough magnesium in the base so I’ve added the Cal mag from Advancednutrients hopefully she will look better in the next couple of weeks we will probably have to lose a few leaves.
I’ve switched my nutrient line to Mega Crop by Greenleaf Nutrients. It’s a one part granular mixture. Very very simple to use. So over the next few weeks I will see what kind of results I get. As you can see I’m not using any supplements with it.
It’s going to be a short week on day 41 I put her into flower. I only have two plants in the flower tent right now so I’m really hoping that she will stretch and fill-in since she has so much sativa. thanks for looking.
I put her in the flower this week because I had space in the tent. She went in at 8 inches by the end of the week she was 14 inches. I’m hopeful that she will fill-in. I have not lowered the lights so she is stretching towards the lights which are some 24 to 30 inches above her.
Well I can’t believe how much better she’s looking. I thought I’d lost her for sure. Even some of the previously yellow leaves have gone back to green. I’m thinking she’s going to be ready for flower next week.
I’ve been spreading the tops and tying them down to maximize the canopy. She now covers about 0.72m2. The flowers started developing at D11. I will let them stretch vertical from here on out.
She’s looking awesome. She has filled in most of the 48” width of the tent and she’s about 30” in the other direction. I’m hoping to break a pound (448g) on her. I’ve come close twice (439 and 434g) but have yet to harvest a full pound of cured bud from a single plant.
I will start flushing her out next week. She has really been a wonderful plant to grow. The beautiful flowers with the shades of pink. I’m so excited to try her.
