This will be growing along with a sister seed to compare different growing techniques. We use SoHum soil with worms (red wrigglers)
We dont use added nutrients. An exception to that is we will be using a 0.1g/L calmag foliar spray on Mar 18, 3rd day of veg. Reverse osmosis filtered water at ph 6.5
Defoliated the bottom node, it was on the soil.
Originally planned to just let her grow, but the counterpart has an odd phenotype so we decided to leave that one alone and do some minor defoliation to this one
Realized this is an auto and started flower 2 weeks ago so we edited this journal to reflect that XD
She is growing strong, we bend the fan leaves down out of the way of flower sites regularly. Rarely defoliate anything.
Huge growth spurt and nice looking flower development. Very easy grow, just watering when the pot is light.
Calmag on the 19th and 23 at lights out only on undersides of large fan leaves
Doing so well! A little lanky, but that was expected with a 12/12 light schedule for half of the plants life.
She continues to look way better than her sister.
Have been watering with molasses (1tsp/gal)
Going strong, and developed a decent sweet smell.
Watering with 1tsp molasses/gal.
She is a beefy lady compared to her 'identical' sister.
Added a Mars hydro 1000W quantum board mid week
Just an absolute beauty of a plant. Ideal growth pattern and beautiful buds.
Much larger than her sister with a ton more axillary growth.
Watered with 1tsp/gal molasses
Had a but of a mg deficiency that we have been remedying. She looks way better today then she did 3 days ago! Smells sweet and fruity!
Stopped molasses feeding while fixing mg deficiency.
Final week before harvest. At least depending on the trichome color.
We are aiming for about 10% amber.
Temps got hot a day or two this week. Was put under control quickly.
Just been watering, nothing else
Late to posting this update, but we are just watching her fatten, and waiting on the trichs!!
Leaves are entering medium-rare stage nitrogen and calcium deficiency it appears, but she'll be fine.
Harvest went well, a bit under what we expected, but really close!
Dried easy and turned out nice dense buds with a sweet smell.
Excited to try her out at the end of cure!!
