GodZilla_Owner Welcome to the grow! This was actually a spontaneous decisionโ€”but Iโ€™m hyped and ready to get started again! ๐Ÿ˜Ž Week 0 โ€“ Germination & First Steps: The Mimosa Evo seeds were germinated in Jiffys using osmosis water with an EC of 0.15 and pH 6.7. After about 7 days, the seedlings were transplanted into 1L pots filled with BioBizz Light Mix. Watered in with an EC of 0.4 and pH 6.7. Later on, theyโ€™ll be moved into their final 15L pots.

GodZilla_Owner Week 1 - Veg Stage starts (VT1 - VT8) VT1: The official count starts today. They stretched a little too much, so I increased the light intensity by one dimmer level. Watered for the first time with 50ml (pH 6.4 / EC 0.4). VPD was between 0.6 - 0.7. VT4: Everything is going well so far. Increased watering to 150ml, still at EC 0.4. Next watering will be with 250ml and EC 0.6. VT6: I actually wanted to keep this report a bit more relaxed, but somehow Iโ€™m documenting more than ever. ๐Ÿค“ Watered today with 250ml (EC 0.6 / pH 6.3) using the adjusted Advanced Nutrients schedule for Veg 1 + 2. VT8 - End of Veg Week 1: The first week of veg is done. Everything went according to plan. They are starting to drink more now. VPD has been raised to 0.8 and will be increased to 0.9 over the course of the week.

GodZilla_Owner Week 2 โ€“ Day 16 Looking back: On day 12, Mimosa Evo #3 showed the first signs of a nutrient deficiency. EC was around 0.9 at that point โ€“ probably not enough for her current size. Mimosa Evo #2, which is smaller, didnโ€™t show any symptoms. This likely means the issue was due to underfeeding the more developed plants. To fix it, I added some salts (EC 0.4) plus a ready-mixed nutrient solution, bringing the total EC to 1.3. The symptoms didnโ€™t get worse after that, but the color still remains lighter than on the other plants. Transplant & pruning: Mimosa Evo #3 has been moved to the final tent. During the process, I removed the first pair of nodes. Mimosa Evo #2 is still in her original pot โ€“ Iโ€™m currently figuring out the best way to place her due to limited space.

GodZilla_Owner Week 3 โ€“ Day 22 ๐Ÿ”„ Looking back: This week was full of activity! Both Mimosa Evo plants were topped and light LST was started ๐ŸŒฟ They also moved into their final 15L fabric pots, watered in with 2.5L each ๐Ÿ’ง ๐Ÿ’ช Mimosa Evo #3 is doing great โ€“ no issues at all. She's strong, healthy, and responding well to training! ๐Ÿ”ง To reduce overall stress (some strains reacted to EC 0.8โ€“0.9), I lowered the DLI to 27. Mimosa Evo handled everything just fine, but I wanted to play it safe. ๐Ÿ“… Looking ahead to Week 4: ๐Ÿ”น Increase watering to 4โ€“5L, depending on how thirsty they get ๐Ÿ”น I checked the root zone through the fabric pot โ€“ things look very promising ๐Ÿ‘€ ๐Ÿ”น LST will continue, and I might remove a few big fan leaves if needed โœ‚๏ธ๐ŸŒฟ

GodZilla_Owner ๐Ÿ”„ Looking back: Mimosa Evo #3 (Day 0 of flower) is still doing well overall, but continues to show signs of overfeeding ๐Ÿšซ She doesn't seem very hungry, so Iโ€™ll lower the EC further โ€“ aiming for around 0.8 or maybe even 0.7. ๐Ÿ•’ Flowering begins: This week I flipped Mimosa Evo #3 to 12/12! Stretch is just around the corner ๐ŸŒฟ๐Ÿ“ Really curious to see how much she'll take off in the next days โ€“ itโ€™s getting exciting now!

GodZilla_Owner Week 5 โ€“ Day 37 ๐Ÿ”„ Looking back: The pH drift is finally coming under control ๐Ÿ“‰ Mimosa Evo #3 (Day 7 of flower) is showing much fewer light leaf edges on the new growth โ€“ looking way better now! ๐ŸŒฑ She's about 50 cm tall and stretching nicely alongside White Widow. The tent is starting to fill up fast ๐Ÿ˜…

GodZilla_Owner Week 6 โ€“ Day 44 Flower Day 14 ๐Ÿ”„ Looking back: This week I did lollipopping and defoliation on Mimosa Evo and White Widow โœ‚๏ธ Both plants took it well โ€“ no signs of stress or herms so far. Everything is stable and looking good โœ… ๐Ÿ’ง I also started mixing osmosis water with tap water at a 10:1 ratio. That gives me a stable pH and a starting EC of 0.08, which is great for preparing nutrients. ๐Ÿ’ก Lighting & DLI Mimosa Evo is under the Kingbrite P55 320W, and Iโ€™ve now increased the light intensity. ๐Ÿ“ˆ DLI is up to 78 (24h), which equals about 39 DLI under a 12/12 cycle. Sheโ€™s handling it well so far โ€“ no signs of light stress, and the stretch continues strong ๐ŸŒฟ ๐ŸŒฟ Plant status โ€“ Mimosa Evo ๐Ÿ“ Height: 77 cm (+27 cm this week) ๐Ÿ’ง Drain pH: 5.9, EC: 1.7 โš—๏ธ Feeding at 75% of the nutrient schedule โœ… She looks vigorous and healthy, stretching strongly into early flower. No deficiencies, no complaints!

GodZilla_Owner Week 7 โ€“ Day 51 Flower Day 21 ๐Ÿ”„ Looking back: A calm and steady week โ€“ mostly just watering, observing, and removing an occasional leaf ๐Ÿƒ Stretch seems to be slowing down now. Vertical space is getting tight, but still manageable ๐Ÿ˜… ๐ŸŒฑ Mimosa Evo โ€“ Growth & Nutrients ๐Ÿ“ She hit the 100 cm mark this week โ€“ tallest plant in the tent! ๐Ÿ† ๐Ÿ’ง Drain pH is 5.9, even though she receives the same nutrient mix as White Widow. โš—๏ธ Feeding at 85% of the Advanced Nutrients Masterline schedule ๐Ÿคทโ€โ™‚๏ธ Not sure why she buffers pH better โ€“ but sheโ€™s clearly thriving! pH & Soil Compatibility Insight One thing I've noticed: itโ€™s really hard to raise the drain pH when using BioBizz Light Mix together with Advanced Nutrients. After some research, this might be due to the way BioBizz buffers pH โ€“ using microbes instead of lime (like in Plagron or Canna substrates). Plus, Iโ€™m feeding those microbes with Bud Candy, which might lower the pH even further. ๐Ÿ’ก If you're using Advanced Nutrients, you might get more stable pH results with soils like Plagron Growmix or Canna Terra Professional, which use dolomite lime.

Stretching early on is normalโ€”smart call increasing the dimmer one notch. They'll respond fast!

@James_Davis05, Yes as always... it depends on the plant. But in this early phase you need to have a eye on them daily. Looking good now!
