Day 77, 5 weeks into flower.
Took her out for the photo shoot this morning, see she has stretched a little more to about 60cm.
I can see some yellow leaves here and there, think it could be nutrient deficiency as she is quite a hunger lady. Nothing serious, so I just removed the yellow leaves.
Flower development seems to be going good, I can start to smell her a little, difficult as my Jack Herer is in full bloom and stinking up the place, nice a fruity.
Coming week will focus on feeding and keeping her happy. Few of my friends struggling with Powdery Mildew, hopefully it will not grace me with it presence 😊
Looking really good! It seems that she didnt mind the fiddling too much. The canopy is nicely spread so you should get some good action 👊 in a few weeks :)
@@Lucimago, that's very kind of you thank you. Stressing a bit as I thought she would show a bit more flowering action by now, but not complaining as it means more veg time 😊
Hey man, if I may, I don't think it's a bad thing to cut fan leaves, I have done it many times with photoperiod plants and they love it. It does "annoy" the plant for a few days of days but then they explode with new growth.
It looks like it could be a problem for autos because they have such short veg period that those few recovery days are critical to the final structure of the plant, and you need every day you can to make the plant as big as possible before starting to flower.
I am a noob at autoflowers, but from what I read it seems that any technique that has the potential to slow down the plant in any way is dangerous. Including topping, defoliating and transplanting. It may be a good idea to germinate the auto seeds in their final pots to avoid potential stunting from transplant. Not saying this from experience, just read it on the internet :)
Still they look very healthy to me and the LST has opened them up in a way that the plants will still be able to grow big buds. Onwards and upwards! :D
@@Lucimago, thank you for the feedback, appreciate it. This is only my second auto so I'm still making mistakes, but at the end of the day how else should one learn 😊
