xhibo Unfortunately, the F1 variety that I've been growing since the beginning of the month has entered puberty and showed the wrong sex, so now I'm starting Grow No. 2. Since I've noticed that the Linda Seeds germinate very well and I want to avoid stress, I planted the seed directly in coconut soil and packed the Floragard soil around it. I'll start Day 1 when the cotyledons are visible.

xhibo 03.05.2025 (Day 1): After 2 days (directly into the substrate) it has come up. I'm quite impressed with Linda Seeds. 06.05.2025 (Day 4): Transplanted into the final pot (3gal fabric pot), the first leaf pair is developing well. 09.05.2025 (Day 7): It's developing exactly the same way as last year.

xhibo 13.05.25: Day 11 and she's developing just like last year. Right now, I still have a plastic tray as a DIY greenhouse over her, but she'll probably outgrow it in the next few days.

xhibo 18.05.25: Day 16, the leaves have a lot of green tones, but it's growing within normal parameters. I'm leaving the plant under the grow light for the time being. 21.05.25: Day 19, still indoors and I've started minimal LST. A sweet smell is slowly starting to come through. 23.05.25: Day 21, last day of week 3. It already smells stronger and different than last year. Additionally, you can see narrower leaf fingers than in 2024. So the genetics are not very stable.

xhibo First signs of slight pre-flowering. I'm curious about the stretch, which was really extraordinary last year. 01.06. (D29): A bit of LST, a bit of defoliation. She's staying at about 10-15cm tall thanks to the 3D-printed hooks. 02.06. (D30): She's now outside and hopefully won't face any extreme weather events. 04.06. (D32): 2 discolored leaves (sun leaves removed). Watered for the first time with growth nutrients. 07.06. (D35): Unfortunately, the weather is quite poor. Nevertheless, she's currently stretching a lot, just like last year. The plant is growing and thriving :)

Leaf discoloration (left side), is that a deficiency symptom?

Hi! That looks like a magnesium or nitrogen deficiency. But since it only affects an 'old' leaf, it could also be due to the phenotype. The rest looks great, so just ignore it or cut it off :-P. Good luck!

xhibo I've started fertilizing (according to the BioBizz schedule). Additionally, I mixed in a bit of N-fertilizer (for tomatoes) since the lower leaves are turning yellow in some places. LST support has been mostly removed. June 19: Today, I cut off the lower, stunted popcorn buds. I'm also really glad that it stays so flat and even. LST is really a great thing!

Lochfrass, can you help me with how to treat this?

I know that feeding picture from cicadas. I use a sprayed neem oil mixture during the growth phase to take away their taste. But at the flowering stage, I would stay away from it. In my experience, those critters don't go for the flowers, and a few chewed-up fan leaves won't bother the plant at all.

xhibo It's raining and I'm afraid of mold, so I've put them under a makeshift solution for the next few days where not too much sun gets in. Otherwise, I've also removed quite a few yellow leaves (20) and I'm currently flushing them. Hopefully, it won't take too long until the harvest. Day 66: The first trichomes are turning amber. Since I last fertilized on Saturday (Day 63), I'm still flushing and will wait another week before harvesting. Otherwise, this sativa-dominant strain would have really been ready in 9 weeks+ from germination to harvest.
