I3o0M I shouldn't have bent the lower branches down so much. They're not going to be tall enough now. I'm planning to go into flowering in 2-3 days.

The new leaves have been turning yellow for about 3 days now. At first it was just yellow tips but now it's spreading to the sides. Unfortunately, I had assumed that I was under-fertilizing (because it is the bigger plant and the other one looks healthy) but it got worse.

Hey 👋 I do agree, you are over feeding… I found a page with most popular deficiencies & methods to help… more specific: I guess you are lacking iron due to to much nutrients in your soil. Maybe following link will help: https://sensiseeds.com/de/blog/wie-man-die-sieben-haufigsten-defizite-von-cannabispflanzen-anhand-von-blattsymptomen-erkennt/ Hope this helped 👊🍀

Hey Growmie, From the looks of that new growth turning yellow (starting at the tips and spreading), it seems like you're dealing with a nutrient issue, but not from underfeeding, more likely over-fertilization or a pH imbalance causing nutrient lockout. What’s likely going on: Nutrient Burn: The fact that it got worse after upping the feed is a strong sign you're overfeeding. Burn usually starts at the tips and creeps inward. pH Lockout: If your pH is off (especially too high), your plant can’t absorb key micronutrients like iron or zinc , even if they're present. Iron Deficiency Symptoms: Yellowing new leaves with green veins is classic, and again, often caused by pH issues, not a lack of iron itself. What you should do: Flush with clean, pH-balanced water (6.0–6.5 if you’re in soil) to clear out excess salts. Check your runoff pH if it’s out of range, that’s probably the root cause. Ease off the nutes for a few days and monitor. Next feed, go with 1/4 to 1/2 strength max. Make sure your temps and airflow are on point. Environmental stress can make it worse. You’re doing the right thing by observing and adjusting, just gotta dial it in. Keep a close eye on the new growth over the next few days; it’ll tell you if you're back on track. Happy growing!

I3o0M Now it's finally going into flowering. A bit later than planned, as I had issues with yellowing shoots on the LCG. The problem has eased, so I've flipped now.

I3o0M Since the buds are slowly getting denser, I got myself a second fan to prevent bud rot (a bit big, but there wasn't a smaller one from AC^^) Update from 28.06.: I'm having extreme problems with humidity. I have now connected a Silent Axial as intake directly to the output of the dehumidifier. With that, I'm just managing to get to 40-45% RH. However, the temperature rises to 29 degrees during the day. But it is also hot summer days. Outside it's 30+ degrees.

Hello since yesterday my leaves at the top of the plant start to show yellow/brown edges with purple shades below Drain EC is 1.8 Drain PH is 6.7 I use the Canna soil and fertilizer set “Terra” and Canna CalMag. The purple coloration on the trunk has existed since the beginning

Oh looks a bit high to me. In combination with purple stems on fan leaves this could be the start of a lock-out. Try to lover your ph a little and see if it gets worse or not. If they start curling up it’s most likely from too much light. Good luck 🍀👍 👊

These are classic burns from excessive fertilizing... as soon as you see that the edges are just starting to turn brown and look burned, the plant is warning you that you have given it a little more food than it needs.. yours showed this a week ago, probably, but you probably didn't pay attention, in the beginning they don't get so burned.. in such situations, you don't feed until the next two waterings, and later you just reduce dose of fertilizer and feed every second or third watering. This is not something that should worry you, at least I wouldn't, throw out the food for the next two waterings and watch how the plant behaves, that way you won't be able to harm it any more, and if there is a defect or something like that, it will continue to spread and show, which you can fix at any time... this is not locking, if it was locking your plants would be on the edge of life and death and they wouldn't look anything like this.

Remember,..... what is showing in the leaves now is a direct reflection of what was happening in the root zone 2-3 weeks ago. Brown tips usually indicate burning from over feeding, but can also indicate a build up of nutrient salts in the substrate due to not getting sufficient run off each and every time you irrigate or feed. Since the plants are getting close to the end of their flowering cycles, there is little you can do to "fix" anything before harvest.....salt build ups are happening from the first feed and take weeks to rise to damaging levels, you can not cure it in 1-2 days. "Flushing" is not something I would recommend, it just releases even more salts and makes things worse. I would suggest reducing the fertilizers slightly and making sure you are getting a decent amount of run off when you are giving plain water. In soil, a schedule of plain water/plain water/fertilizer works well, you should never fertilize every time you water! Some people like doing plain water/fertilizer/plain water/fertilizer, but reduce the strength of the fertilizer if feeding that often. This is not a "lock-out" issue in any way.

When do you start counting the flowering days? As soon as you have switched to 12/12 or only as soon as the first white flower hairs appear and the plant shows its sex?

Hi 🙋‍♂️ I don't start counting from the first appearance of the female traits. Instead, I wait until I recognize the first true flowers. After that, I go by the flowering times of the manufacturers... Although the seeds to harvest time usually doesn't match up anymore, the flowering times are mostly spot on... but everyone has to figure that out for themselves. Hope it helps! Good luck 👊🍀🖖

I3o0M The buds are slowly looking really nice and frosty. I'm overall dissatisfied with the LED. The lighting isn't optimal, and the buds on the edges don't look nearly as good as those in the middle. Let's wait and see... The Lemon Cherry Gelato has a more airy bud structure but a lot of trichomes, whereas the Bruce Banner is significantly denser but has much fewer (visible) trichomes. The fact that LCG is more airy might be due to the slightly high temperature in the tent, I think... Currently around 28-29 degrees during the day. Or maybe it's genetic, what do you all think? I watered a bit too much with PK 13/14 and now have slight symptoms. (A few leaves with brown spots and burned leaf tips)

Week 13. Flowering
1y ago
I3o0M Beginning week 7 and I had to use the scrog net because the buds of the LCG became too heavy and the stems got cracks at the axils. I had hoped to manage without the net so I could easily lift the plants out when watering, but now I need to figure something out, maybe I'll get a small pump. Sad update: Unfortunately, the LCG has hermied. Over the week, more and more seeds became visible in the buds. However, I don't see any bananas; they must be lying in the buds. The Bruce Banner also shows a few seeds but significantly less. Such a shame. I can't say exactly what the cause is. I'd guess it's temperature or genetics. The headbuds of the LCG are clearly further along than the rest in the tent, so I will likely partially harvest them tomorrow (07/13). I think the herming has accelerated the ripening of the trichomes.

I3o0M The headbuds of the LCG will be harvested soon, and the rest still needs some time. Generally, the Bruce Banner takes a bit longer. Since this one looks more promising, the LCG prefers to stay a little longer. Although it's very frosty, it's not that dense.

I3o0M On 07/21/25, I did a partial harvest of the top buds of the Lemon Cherry Gelato. I'm drying the buds in the same tent up in a cardboard box. The trichomes were very ripe. The rest will likely stay for another week. I've been flushing for about 1-1.5 weeks, and tomorrow morning I'll harvest before "sunrise." I just tried some of the LCG partial harvest in the vape, and the cherry terps are really coming through! Awesome! That gives hope even though the plant is a bit airy and has hermied.

I3o0M I harvested the Lemon Cherry Gelato on 07/27 and left the Bruce Banner a bit longer. Update 08/04/25 Trimmed the LCG, unfortunately a lot of seeds due to hermaphrodites and small buds, but the terps are very good. Cola Cherry.

I3o0M I actually didn't plan to give any more updates on the Cherry Poppers, but it's developing so well right now that I didn't want to keep it from you^^ It will still need a few weeks.. I just hope everything doesn't start to mold on me at the end because the weather is getting bad..

That looks awesome! Partial harvests are really interesting to me. In my last grow, I harvested four times to let the lower/younger buds mature. The stigmas kept growing (with foxtailing), but they turned out amazing. It would be interesting to hear about your experience with that. Please share! ;-)
