Germination

REPOOLSIV 3/1/25 - Used the paper towel inside of a Ziploc baggie germination method, although both seeds had sprouted successfully the one that jumped out of the shell had wilted away on me. I'm still a beginner grower so I'm bound to make a mistake here or there. I think it was due to very low humidity, for some reason I didn't think to use a humidity dome. 3/4/25 - Everything begins!! 2x 7oz plastic cups were used with outer cup duct taped to block light. This allows me to lift inner up to monitor roots and plant when I feel the timing is perfect.

REPOOLSIV 3/5/25 Unfortunately I had taken no pictures during this week, although her set of cotyledon leaves came in within a couple days and the first set of true leaves also began to develop by the mid/end of this week. (website required me to upload a photo so I reuploaded the sowed germination picture from 3/4/25.

REPOOLSIV 3/14 - Her roots had grown down the entire side of the 7oz cup and began to hit the bottom, so I decided to give the little mistress her new forever home in a 5gal fabric pot. 3/17 - Little mistress is beginning to build up her main stem, very very soon I'll be considering some LST to keep main canopy nice and flat near soil surface.

REPOOLSIV 3/21 - First LST applied to the main stem. Made sure to be gentle and not tie anything too firm. I'd much rather the little gal to grow into the LST and pull the twine tight vs having it too tight initially and stunting her. 3/23 - Applied another LST to the main stem, she was back to pointing up at the lights and starting to outgrow the training. First signs of pistils have showed up too!! Much much sooner than I expected, she's growing wild and loving every little bit of life! 3/24 - Trimmed off her first fan leaf, Big umbrella-like effect covering many smaller node sites that could benefit from the extra light.

REPOOLSIV 3/26 - I added a few extra LST ties to help direct the branches that are growing wild. 3/28 - Little mistress has taken to the LST really well. Growth is uniform throughout canopy along with it being very flat. I'm really impressed with how this grow is turning out. 3/29 - WOW! It appears she had an overnight growth spurt, easily an inch and some, all in 23 hours!! From here on, I'll let the mistress grow wild into the light. No more LST and let's see how crazy she can get :) 4/1 - She's absolutely taken off, the LST paid off more than I could have hoped for. Still no feedings as of yet, although I have some Gaia Green dry amendment here waiting for a top dress when the time is right.

REPOOLSIV 4/2 - Past couple, maybe few days, have been explosive with growth. Feels as though she's growing over an inch each night. 4/4 - Still such a rich green color, I've never used Gaia Green dry amendments before, but I still feel like she's not quite hungry yet. Although I believe the low humidity is causing the tips of the leaves to have a jagged-like appearance on the tips. No discoloration, but some kind of irritation for sure. 4/7 - Still doesn't look quite hungry for food yet. I'm beginning to get antsy myself as to when and how much I should feed, comparing to other Auto's it seems like I should feed right now but my gut tells me I should wait. 4/8 - First time I'm noticing some slight discoloration in the lower set of leaves, I decided to give some Gaia Green as a top dressing, I mixed a 50:50 ratio of the 4-4-4 all-purpose and Power Bloom, and gave 3tbsp for the 5gal pot. The manufacturer recommends I use 5tbsp for a 5gal pot, but my gut still feels as though I'm feeding slightly early so I decided to dial it back to 3tbsp for the 5gal.

REPOOLSIV 4/9 - Today was a tad scary, had issues with the heating in my home. Temps dropped below 60 degrees for at least a few hours, but eventually got everything sorted out before it became a serious issue. 4/12 - First time I'm noticing that sticky icky developing!! Best part is it's not just the main branch, but all the top branches poking above the canopy. 4/14 - New Spider Farmer 2'x2'x6' tent arrived today and got right on setting that up! This lady has been nothing short but spectacular in terms of her growth. I've noticed last couple days she has begun to slow her vertical growth and more pistil hairs are being tossed out, while marbles are growing in all over.

REPOOLSIV 4/16 - Nice size beginning to form all over, almost as big as my thumb already! I have a feeling I should probably feed more Gaia Green, the first feeding was nearly the perfect amount of food. I noticed she has slight nute burn on the tips of only a handful of leaves. The yellowing stopped for some time, although it seems as if she's hungry again. 4/19 - Slightly more nute burns showed up but still only on the tips of a couple new leaves. I'm hesitant on using more Gaia since I tend to burn the plants and give too much food with synthetics. So far this is the least burn I've experience yet! 4/21 - Definitely a noticeable smell when I open the tent, hints of a fruity, tropical, sort of smell along with that dank gassy thc smell. Not all that overpowering but noticeable for sure.

REPOOLSIV 4/23 - Beginning to notice signs of yellowing throughout the entire plant, FastBuds website says it should take about 9 weeks to grow and seeing the plant shift to a lighter green makes sense with that estimate. 4/28 - Smells are getting on the stronger side, still not an overpowering strength but wow she smells great. Fruity like a pineapple almost? or many a hint of a pina coolada smell?? Not really sure, but I can say it's a sweet and tropical fruity-like smell. Her tops are reallllly fattening up now and I can't wait to try the smoke.

REPOOLSIV 4/30 - About that time where a leaf here and there gets pretty yellow and falls off on it's own. So far I've collected about 4-5 of them but she's definitely showing signs of her old age. If I had to guess her pistils are around 30%, maybe 40% brown now. 5/2 - Easily close to 50% of the lady's pistils have become brown, along with a pretty noticeable shift in color plant-wide. I pulled out the bluetooth microscope I have to pair with my phone and grabbed some pretty awesome photos of the trichomes. I'd like to wait for some amber thc to begin appearing, so I know for an absolute fact the rest of the plants thc has had time to mature. Will have to check thc again near end of this grow week on 5/5 or 5/6. 5/5 - Gave her 4 liters of plain water, pH to 6.2, also took another look at the trichomes and still not really any amber heads anywhere on the buds at least. She really smelling strong now, if I unzip the tent for more than a min or two my room reeeeeks of that dank.

REPOOLSIV 5/7 - Week 10 Day 1 today! Trichomes are still not quite turning amber on the top colas so I'm curious if I should push her a little more? She has some kind of color shift happening on the uppermost leaves, where the edges are beginning to turn purple here and there. Watering - 4L of plain water pH to 6.1

5/10 - She looks and smells great, grow was pretty easy. Some LST around weeks 3-4 and she exploded with growth. Didn’t top or anything like that, only LST. Since I'm a beginner grower, still not 100% sure how to tell signs of plant resistance, although there was no signs of mold or mildew with what seemed like pretty sturdy trunks. The drying portion has just begun so we’ll see how things go from here!

REPOOLSIV 5/10 - Can’t wait to see how she dries up!! I’m not the best when it comes the drying portion but I feel confident everything’s ok. (pls don't judge the fact I used a scrog for the dry, I had to leave to work but figured I could chop, hang, then run out the door. Got too excited and forgot to setup the coat hangers and the only thing in arms reach was the scrog hahaha) 5/12 - Looks like everything is going pretty solid! All leaves are still pretty soft and not crispy in the slightest. 60%rH and 51F 5/16 - Had a few warm days outside and that definitely sped some things up. She still isn't quite dried yet so we're still going strong.
