Gorilla Cookies

TerpToad Three days after germination the gorilla cookie enters the first week of veg. In the second half of week 1 she will get to try the first real sunlight, but I will put her back inside during the night. In week 2 she will fully transition outdoors.

TerpToad Because of the nice weather, the Gorilla cookies already moved outside fulltime - and she is loving it! At first I feared the cold nights compared to the 20 degreed celsius indoor would stress her out and stop or slow down the growth, but the small plant is thriving and growing faster than my indoors seedlings. At the beginning of week 2 I watered one liter with one gram of BioEnhancer added. I dont know of it will have a noticable effect since I am not using any other GreenHouse feeding ammendments at the moment, but I figured it wont hurt.

TerpToad Stressfull training and cloudy weather slowed the Gorilla Cookies down a bit. But I do not worry, since I got all the time this plant needs. In hindsight, cloudy weather might helped after the topping to recover for a couple of days. By now the new growth has clearly started and the forecast predicts sun for the next week. The following days will show how good she handled the topping!

TerpToad Week 4 starts with a healthy little gorilla cookies that fully recovered from her topping and is eager to branch out :) The weather so far is cloudy but she stays nice and compact while still showing new growth. So far this strain seems pretty resilient and strong!

TerpToad During week 4 disaster struck - I bend down the two main stems, and due to strong winds shaking the plant one of them broke. I fixed it with some tape and at first it seemed ok, but it stayed wilthy and weak while the other three branches grew quite quickly. So I decided to take it out and start with three main branches into week 5. The weather is still mostly cloudy but the gorilla cookies handles the lack of sun with ease and without stretching. Still no signs of preflower.

TerpToad In the second half of week 5 the weather got really nice. The start of week 6 is really sunny with the first occasional hot days. The Gorilla Cookies grew a lot and seems to enter preflower. I predict the real start of flower in week 7. She looks a bit hungry, so I will start to water with BioCanna Flores.

TerpToad Nothing new to report but some stretching :) looks like we maybe are already in week 2 of flower?

TerpToad There was an intense heatwave, but the gorilla cookies pulled through. Right now the weather is cloudy again, but I hope for a sunny finish for this girl. Everything going fine, I hope she picks up some smell in her final weeks

TerpToad Bad weather for July, but she is pulling through. I like her bud structure much more by now, she seems to be filling in nicely.

TerpToad I have to say, up until week 9 I wasnt to impressed with this girl. But since she started to put some weight into her buds, she grows more beautiful by the day. On this plant the (fucked up) topping did wonders, there are three large and heavy headbuds waiting for me. She has picked up on smell to and shows a sweet, fresh and earthy aroma, which reminds me of Girl Scout Cookies. She is of the nutes by now, since she still shows a dark green color and I want to allow a nice feed in the next two weeks before harvest.

TerpToad This balcony grow turned out really nice! She took ther time at first, but matured beautifully with some stacked, sticky colas. The smell came up late but makes me look forward to the first taste! I can definitly recommend this strain :)
