Poison Pie

KanOrganics It's kind of slow growing, and the first set of leaves are kind of funky, but we'll see what happens.

KanOrganics She's doing alright. We have some chlorosis forming, and slower than average growth, due to not amending this re-used soil enough, but it's nothing a top dressing can't fix.

KanOrganics She's growing slow, but growing, anyway. I might top her this week to promote her roots to grow out more. In any case, I'm in no hurry.

KanOrganics She finally started looking bigger this week, so we topped her.

KanOrganics I started to tie down some branches this week and defoliated some. Still waiting for more growth before I tie down and defoliate anymore.

KanOrganics She's coming along. I did a little bit of defoliation and some more tying down of branches.

KanOrganics I have been continuing to tie her down low, while defoliating larger fan leaves and suckers I don't want. She's a slow grower, so now we wait for the smaller shoots to grow a bit before continuing with major training.

KanOrganics Well, she certainly put on some leaves this week. We didn't do anything to her this week. In fact, I'm going to LITFA for about two more weeks before I stick it in the flower tent.

KanOrganics I did some defoliation of some undergrowth today. She is starting to show sex now (stigmas). Her tops have stretched nicely over the last week. I plan on flowering her when I have room in 2 weeks.

KanOrganics She's growing lovely. I defoliated a minor amount this week - just a couple suckers down low that would have never grew. Other than that, just let her grow. In about a week or two, we'll move her into the flower tent.

KanOrganics I'm a little confused here. I moved her into the flower tent under 12/12 a couple days ago, which is actually much cooler with the same amount of light. But her tips are starting to turn brown, which makes me believe that maybe this plant is not getting enough nutrition from my soil recipe, unlike many others flowering in the same mix. There isn't much I can do at this point, except maybe give her a top dressing, but I find my simple 'just add water' methodology satisfying, watching my plants respond well. This is the oddball, so I'm not sure if it would be worth treating her differently - it might be too late or I could be diagnosing her wrong. I guess we'll just see what happens 🤷
