Growing Zkittles Auto as a tester for fastbuds was a blessing. I really love the tiny stunted structure paired with the massive buds hanging on this plant. It's perfect for growers who doesn't have a lot of space or need to check that the plant never gets to high. The yields are incredible and the smell is awesome. Really like a bag of Zkittles :)

@OhcanaDAbiz, Hey there! Regarding coco, it's really up to you! A lot of growers use coco with our genetics and have fantastic results.... the same can be said about soil or hydro, so it comes down to personal preference really. As far as topping goes, it's a bit risky generally speaking. Your autos won't have the same amount of healing time as their photoperiodic sisters so if done incorrectly, it can stunt the growth. That being said, many growers have had great success topping their autos... specifically Zkittlez... so I'd said, go for it if you're feeling confident. Also, it's generally recommended to do it at the 3rd node to allow that time for healing. Let me know what you decide to do!🙌🏼

@Fast_Buds, what are your recommendations for coco? To top or not to top? Any insight would be very valuable to me and greatly appreciated. I won a contest and should have these coming whenever they arrive. I am very excited about this strain and the FastBuds genetics in general. I have never grown Fastbuds but I do like how you're apart of this community and you take the time and effort to respond which sets you apart from others in my mind. I look forward to my future grows with Zkittlez, cheers!!

Why did you defoliate if keeping her for another 10 days?

I realized that in the late flowering stage they do not really need their fan leaves - it is something I did find out over the last years of growing and never was bad for one of my plants.I just let the light fully penetrate the buds instead of the big leaves.

Thx for the info. I'll most likely won't top these this time around, I think the least amount of stress is beneficial for autos. I did too much to my girl with my first grow and she took her sweet old time because of the stress that I put her through. My girl was off to the races until I made the switch to flower, but I unfortunately misinterpreted some techniques and supercropped every branch including the main cola. So, week 7 looks like a plane fell from the sky and crash landed on my girl and flattened every branch lol I didn't realize to do a branch every couple days rather than all at once lol live and learn. Thanks for the response. One final question that I have is roughly how long to receive prizes from Naked Bud contest? I'm roughly 2 days away from my first harvest and would like to start round 2 in the next week or so. Thanks again.

@OhcanaDAbiz, Hahaa.... practice makes perfect. The great thing about this platform is how willing everyone is to exchange their knowledge so I'm sure you can find any answer you want right here on Grow Diaries =) Regarding the prizes, according to your tracking number, it left Europe in the 17th... I would say if everything goes smoothly, it could arrive within a week =)
