Hi. I'm a rookie when it comes to growing. My babies are about 2 weeks old. When should I start thinking about giving nutrients? And what soil should I transplant them into for veg & flowering? They're in Mother Earth Performance Soil now.

I would give them a half strength dose this week and full the week after, but here's an awesome article on the subject: https://www.gardenmyths.com/when-fertilize-seedlings/ Doesn't matter what you plant them in as long as you maintain enough porosity (maintaining at least 20% perlite or vermiculite helps, and potting mixes will often have this ratio, but if you are planting in clay/soil I would add perlite or vermiculite and peat moss or coconcoir) and nutrients. I use Pro-Mix BX with some extra perlite often because it is cheap (I would use Pro-Mix HP if it were more abundant here) and works well. For nutrients, after this week follow the container of what you have (assuming you already purchased), but you can check out my Fruity Freak diary if you want to see what I do (my Fruity Freak #2 grow is super simple, with a basic 3-1-2 nutrient ratio). Hope this helps--happy growing!

Mother Earth Performance Soil has NPK 0.12 0.06 0.09 it's too low in my opinion... u think u can start with 200ppm and get it up every week, thats' really bare minimumit won't hurt

Good job getting started!👊👍 Since your babies (Apple Fritter Autos) are 2 weeks old and in Mother Earth Groundswell soil, you probably don’t need to feed nutrients just yet. That soil has some food in it already. Wait until they’re about 3–4 weeks old or if they start looking pale/light green, then start light feeding. Start with ¼ strength veg nutrients around week 3–4, make sure your water pH stays around 6.0–6.5, soil for transplant Mother Earth is fine, but when you transplant, make sure the new soil is still good quality and drains well. You can keep using Mother Earth or mix in some perlite or coco to help roots breathe. Since they’re autos, be gentle, they don’t like too much stress or big transplants. If possible, go straight into their final pots soon.
