A humble little Opium Harvest :)

This time diversity is indeed strenght! :) Eventually, I scrapped the entire project. I came to the stark realization that I have no control—none—when it comes to this plant. A deceptively charming flower, it wormed its way in. The remaining plants were composted after an endless wave of blooms. Then I ate all the seeds I had meticulously collected—just to make sure I never grow her again. She’s a succubus: always taking, always draining, while giving just enough affection to keep you deluded and tethered. Like the One Ring turning Sméagol into Gollum, this plant slowly corrupts. You begin thinking a modest, measured approach will suffice. It won’t. Sooner or later, it owns you. If you're even considering growing Papaver somniferum, take this as your warning: you're not cultivating a plant—you're inviting in a parasite dressed as a muse.
