Stonerapaisana First of all, welcome everyone, this is a Portuguese diary, feel completely comfortable to criticize or give your opinion about this diary, without further ado, let's get to the point:
Relevant info:
For this run, I chose a 90% indica genetic variety, with a longer flowering period. I will germinate 8 seeds for safety because I will only keep 6 in my space.
During the cultivation, I will only do 3 types of watering besides water, which will be treated in the following terms, "A", "B", and "C" that I will describe:
A: Aerated Tea (to promote a better rhizosphere environment) - Water, worm humus, bat guano, bokashi, and molasses, I let it oxygenate for 48 hours.
B: Natural insecticide (foliar) - Made from paraffin oil, which creates a highly persistent protective film against mealybugs, aphids, whiteflies, and mites.
C: Biological stimulator (Foliar) - Made from humic/fulvic acids and seaweed extract, acts as a soil conditioner, promotes stronger and more vigorous root development. Additionally, it increases nutrient and water absorption, conditioning the plants to better handle potential future stress (excess heat, cold, drought, overwatering, pests, lack of space, etc.).
Records/notes:
05/16/2025 - I placed the seeds in a glass with chlorine-free mineral water for 24 hours, on top of a heat mat.
05/17/2025 - All 8 seeds germinated, I placed them in Jiffys to root, inside a closed propagator to retain humidity, still on top of the heat mat.
05/19/2025 - 7 developed surprisingly fast, 1 ended up not developing, I had to plant them in the initial pot due to height/weight and control of tops (See photos).
05/21/2025 - Nothing to add, I haven't watered since then, the soil is still moist, they stopped stretching and started developing the first true leaves.

05/28/2025 - They are growing consistently so far, the genetics seem quite stable, I watered yesterday (05/27/2025) and started preparing the aerated tea today to apply in 2 days, to develop the soil microbiota. I will inoculate the soil with Trichoderma harzianum along with the aerated tea to promote a better rhizosphere environment.
05/31/2025 - They all reacted well to the aerated tea, since then they haven't been watered again, I increased the airflow and therefore put some supports to prevent falls and work on the thickness of the stem, I’ll leave a few more photos.

06/06/2025 - The samples look healthy, they will need more space very soon, before the next watering. The soil was almost dry, I did another watering with just chlorine-free water and did a foliar application of "C".

08/06/2025 - I transplanted to the final grow bag (25L), I used a powdered bio-stimulant based on the mycorrhizal fungus Glomus iranicum var tenuihypharum directly on the roots and transplant area to promote mycorrhizal colonization, which induces greater root growth. I watered with 1.5L for each of them.
15/06/2025 - During the week I did another watering "A" and foliar feeding "B", today I did the last topping, I removed some larger leaves that were covering the lower branches. I will wait for them to develop a bit more before I start applying LST.

01/07/2025 - The soil is still moist, preparing watering "A" to be done tomorrow. I've already set up the SCROG net to get an idea of how to move the branches and position the pots from here on out; I’ll let it grow a bit more to effectively lower the net. So far, everything has responded well to the training and pruning, everything seems stable.
04/07/2025 - I watered with mineral water (1L per pot), chlorine-free and with a pH of 6.2, lowered the SCROG net to start working the branches, space, and control of tops more efficiently.

I put some companion seeds from the SimbioSolo brand, seemed like an interesting mix, reinstalled the SCROG net, and we’ll see if they stay healthy and respond well this week, then flip to 12/12.

06/08/2025 - I watered with mineral water free of chlorine and pH at 6.2, I adjusted the position of the pots and SCROG net one last time.
Note: I have 2 samples where the leaves are turning yellow, it started in the first week of flowering, I added bat guano and bokashi as soil cover at the beginning of flowering, I believe it’s not a lack of potassium, phosphorus, or nitrogen, I even do some waterings with aerated tea at pH 6.5, other than that just waterings with mineral water which has a pH of 6.2 (bottle water). - resolved, the problem was that I put too much bat guano at the beginning of flowering as soil cover and used it too frequently in aerated teas. Stonerapaisana 30/08/2025 - I've been watering alternately with bottled water and tap water that I let sit in the sun for 24 hours. I believe I might be having an issue with the EC of the water, but I don't have an EC meter. I'm going to buy one for the next run because it's too late to mess with or adjust anything in this one. But anyway, I'm going to try to dig deeper with what I have to better understand the problem.
It's going to produce excellent smoke; the smell is very strong, and there's trichome formation. Thanks to the whole community for helping me with my questions. You've been a huge help. I'm loving the experience of keeping this diary!
P.S.: With the help of the community, I ended up realizing that the problem could stem from several factors, as mentioned above (without an EC meter) I suspect it might be the EC of the water I've been using. I did a calculation, and the EC of the water is around 130-150uS/cm, which is quite acceptable on its own. However, the composition of the water is:
Ca2+ 1.5mg/L
Na+ 25mg/L
Cl- 19mg/L
HCO3- 47.1mg/L
Conclusion: I would still need to check the EC of the runoff from the pots, but without a meter, it's totally impossible for me. Thus, the possible causes I found would be 2: the excessive use of aerated teas, which may have increased the sucrose in the soil too much, and with that, the microbial life which in turn raises the soil EC. Another possible problem, which I think is the most likely, is the composition of the water I'm using to water; it has a relatively high sodium content (over 10 mg/l). Sodium is one of the worst elements in excess in cultivation; it's not an essential nutrient for the plant (only needed in trace amounts), competes with K, Ca, and Mg in the roots blocking absorption, and easily accumulates in the substrate since it's not consumed by the plant. Lastly, the amounts of Ca and Mg are relatively low, which can create a deficiency of these nutrients even more easily under these conditions. When watered with this type of water, the ideal would be to do a runoff of 10% with every watering (like a light flush) to avoid salt buildup in the substrate, something I almost never did throughout the grow. Living and learning :D

Stonerapaisana I harvested a bit earlier because they started to yellow a lot and I think the soil had too much salt, I did a flush this last week and harvested, let's move on to the next one.
