RatmanJR Picked this bad boy up at my local dispo in Michigan. Immediately put in quarantine where she received neem drench and copper coating. After a day I moved in clone tent where she will chill for a week before transplant. Gave her some worm castings as she will be going into some living soil. Really looking forward to this grow. Sherb cake grows like crazy and Mac is powerful so this should be good. Also I’m sorry I don’t have any photos for this week. God bless!

RatmanJR Picked up this bad boy at the local dispensary. Writing this about 5 weeks in the future. I told them give me the worse one they had because I knew they’d bounce back. Is a cross between sherbcake and mac1. No one grows this but was made by a strange breeder. Apparently it’s killer. We will see.

RatmanJR Transplanted about two weeks ago and I believe I am having issues with calcium not 100% sure. Going to try a few different things and see what comes of it. Other than that going very well and vigorously. God bless!

RatmanJR Sorry for skipping a few weeks. Been struggling with what I thought was a calcium deficiency. Turns out it’s been light stress. Turned down the lights and she has been happy ever since. God bless

RatmanJR Skipping a few weeks and I apologize but it takes us to the present day at least. Plant growing extremely well. Just fimmed about 15 tops. Going to see how many colas I can push this thing too. Current growing by itself in a 15 gallon pot that has had the last 2 months to cook after its last harvest. This Is my automated tent so it simply as waters before it wakes up and before bed. I give it tea once a week. God bless Update May 19th: noticed some yellowing between veins very different from light stress from earlier in grow. Decided to give a dose of calcium and phosphorus and a good shot of micros. I might give it some epsom salts as well in case it is magnesium and not calcium. Will see how it responds!

RatmanJR Last week of vegging. Just did a decently sized defoliation. Plant has finally recovered from the really violent FILMing I did last week. Flipped to 12/12 today May 24th. Not sure what kind of stretch to expect but she’s got sherb in her so I’m expecting a large one. Because I’m flipping I top dressed with epsom salt, build a flower, craft blend, and big 6. I also watered in some cow cal so she gets a shot of instant phosphorus. By the time stretch is finished the build a flower and craft blend should hopefully start breaking down. In the meantime the cow cal and epsom will make sure she has cal mag and phosphorus. God bless

RatmanJR Plant growing phenomenally really filled out the entire net and ready to let her grow up for the next week or two. Making tea as of today May 31st. Tea is made of worm castings, a little craft blend, a little big 6, and some blackstrap molasses. I plan on watering her with this tea starting June 1st. I added some European night crawlers today. They looked dead when I got them but I added them to the pot and everyone disappeared so evidentially they are still kicking. Pot already has red wigglers for topsoil aeration these guys will help aerate deeper in the root zone It’s been 7 days since flip. It needs a defoliation but I always wait at least 14 days especially in living soil. I’ll do a heavy defoliation at day 14 and likely another smaller one on day 42. Really looking forward to see how this thing flowers. Really interesting strain. Picked it up from a really legit lab in Michigan. They have tissue cultures for most cannabis cup winners; this strain is a bit of a no namer though. Seems like it was bred by a gentlemen known as kick flip genetics, looking at his cuts he clearly has access to high quality genomes, must be a reason this lab decided this was worth producing. I’ll find out God bless Edit June 1st: Noticed what could be some PM on a singular lower leaf likely due to humidity in the 70s so decided to do a pretty heavy defoliation. Did a lollipop for the first time ever. With lower leaf mass being removed the humidity is sitting around 55 now. Interested to see if the lollipop actually pushes energy to those top buds. I hate to do a defoliation at this point in flower(7 days into stretch) but she’s got plenty of leaves left and should recover quick God bless

RatmanJR June 7th. 14 days from flip. Plant is growing really well. Showing pistal development and starting to see the flowers form. Even with that abusive defoliation I did last week it recovered within a few days. Did another defoliation today to expose many more bud sites, lower humidity slightly, and removed lower branches to focus energy up top. I’ll do one more small defoliation next week on day 21 to expose any bud sites that get covered up. And than on day 42 I’ll do my last defoliation which serves to reduce humidity Going to give some tea tmmr June 8th. Will be a super simply shot of molasses and worm castings. Might through some cow cal in for phosphorus but don’t think I need it. Really excited to see how these flowers develop. God Bless

RatmanJR June 14th. 21 days post flip. Plant is growing really really well. Had to do one last defoliation to get bud sites showing for the next few weeks. I’ll likely do one more around day 42 Ton of sites at the moment and I’m really excited. Expecting some hard dense nugs based on the spacing I’m seeing So far smelling like straight citrus gas. Really unique compared to most of the modern strains I’ve been growing. Will be giving it some tea tmmr on the 15th. 1 gallon of water mixed with some worm castings, molasses, and a little bit of big 6. Super basic just trying to keep microbes happy. God bless!

RatmanJR June 21st update. 28 days since flip. Plant is growing phenomenal. Was able to crank the lights up to 80% for the first time in this grow without her throwing a fit. All of the banana peels I’ve fed her the last few weeks have disappeared and have been feeding my soil mites and my worms. I have not had any bad pests since I started using these predator mites I love it. I can’t even begin to describe the smell of this thing. It’s like a raspberry tart mixed with just a little hint of gas. I’m so excited to give this a try when the time comes Noticing Trichomes going all the way down some of the fan leaves so that is always cool to see. Also I noticed this is common with living soil but I’m done bothering trying to defoliate. I will do one more in two weeks at day 42. But anything I remove at this point is just going to come right back. As always nothing but water. Will give her some tea tmmr like every Sunday with some big 6, worm castings, molasses, and some cow cal 24.

RatmanJR Day 35 post flip. Plants are doing phenomenal. Buds are finally starting to fatten up and can tell they are ready to get going. Smell is amazing. They are starting to develop a slight lavender scent. In my experience that means this thing will be focus inducing. Slight light burn on a few leaves. Gonna let it go and continue riding the line. Nothing but recharge this week for its tea. Been hitting it hard and all that build a flower and bananas should be available now. God bless

RatmanJR July 5th. Day 42 post flip. Wanna start by saying happy 4th of July to all my American friends and to everyone out there. Unfortunately seeing some signs of what looks like nutrient toxicity. Did a long analysis of what I’ve been giving it and determined it’s been getting a boat load of calcium but not a whole lot of magnesium. This means for this weeks tea it’s getting nothing but recharge and some epsom salts. Was going to defoliate but I’m seeing a lot of Trichomes on the fan leaves so I’m actually going to leave as is. Buds are not the largest but the amount of bud sites and their density makes up for it. The smells coming off this thing are amazing and the concentration of globular Trichomes I’m seeing under magnification has me very excited about the potency of this strain. At this point because of the burn this will be my last tea of the grow. Going to let the microbes and left over matter finish the job for the next 4-5 weeks. God bless and happy growing everyone

RatmanJR July 5th. 49 days post flip. Whatever my plant has been experiencing seems to be getting worse. I can’t see it having a deficiency with everything I’ve been giving it so I’ve just been giving it water. I suspect it’s lockout, or it could even potentially be light burn. At this point I have about two weeks left so going to continue giving it water. I also dialed the lights back from 80% down to 60% to see if it helps at all because the leaves on this thing have been susceptible to light burn from the very start. I will say I think it was a little underwatered this week as when I went to give it tea the leaves were a little turbid. So I might be dealing with a multifaceted issue Regardless the buds themselves continue to fatten, not as large as I would have hoped but we have so many tops I’m not concerned. Still have two more weeks to go for this thing to pack on some weight I will be getting my soil tested at a local university and posting the results here soon. I just ordered the kit. Aside from all this the plants smells amazing and trichome density looks good. I’m super excited for this crop. God bless!
