JamesRenato The beginning of this week had more super soil coverage, trichoderma with Andiroba oil to control insects, while maintaining the addition of bacteria and mycorrhiza, and a highlight on Boibizz's Fish Mix. The plant has kept its healthy growth so far.

JamesRenato I added a humidifier to the setup, now the humidity varies between 60% and 50%. I also started adding Cal Mag to the watering solution, keeping the other fertilizers, all once a week (fishmix, start roots, bioheaven, gorilla microbes, and mycorrhizae).

JamesRenato I've reduced the light period to 17 hours, and I'll keep lowering it over the next ten days until I reach the flip. For nutrition, I've started using BioGrow but haven't stopped with FishMix; I believe I'm well diversified with BioHeaven and Gorilla mycorrhizae and microbes. I'm not measuring, but I know the ppm is moderate; I just add one at a time with each watering since I'm using a super organic soil.

JamesRenato The plant continues to grow very healthy, I'm reducing one hour of light in the cycle every 2 days, in the next update we will be starting the flowering. I stopped using Fishmix and now I'm only using Biogrow, I also did a foliar application of potassium silicate along with liquid Calmag. She is ready for the 12/12 light cycle.

JamesRenato Now the light period is at 12/12. I turned on the additional light that reaches more in the spectrum, the red tone, I started using humic acid, and a ratio of NPK to meet the needs of flowering (BioBloom and TopMax). With the change in light, predictably the plant started to grow quite a bit in height, but it hasn't shown signs of pre-flowering yet, which is normal. For sure in the next update, we'll see some pistils.

JamesRenato In the first week of flowering, my concern here in my grow is about space. I'm going to have to arrange some support to better distribute the flowers within the light focus and hold the weight once the buds start to fatten up. The nutrition continues with the same base but with less nitrogen and more phosphorus, potassium, calcium, and magnesium.

JamesRenato The buds are already resinous and since it's the second week, I consider the progress to be above average here in my reality. The nutrition plan remains the same, but I noticed that she reacted more expressively with the addition of Calcium and Magnesium.

JamesRenato It's been 10 days since the last update, a few pistils appeared burned, I was worried that the soil's EC might be a bit high. From the day I'm posting this update, I decided to water only with water for a few days. I measured the runoff pH and I consider that 6.4 is a satisfactory result. The plant continues to resin well and is always in a state of positive phototropism, which proves the resilience and ease of cultivating this phenotype, since my growing setup is not the best in the world.

JamesRenato Now she is alone in my Grow, I had problems with aphids on the other phenotype. Both were from the same pack, but the one I've been showing here has been more vigorous since the beginning of the cycle, even with another plant infested with pests next to it, once again proving to be very resilient. Now, as it approaches maturity, the expectation is that the flowers will start to explode in volume, and I'm already thinking about reducing the light to preserve the terpenes.

JamesRenato On that day, she was already starting her seventh week, and visibly the buds have fattened a bit, but I noticed that it was the trichomes that changed the most; they became more milky, even to the naked eye. I'm following the nutrition charts from the manufacturers, and in these last few days, until the end of this week, the EC of the watering solution has strategically increased, and in a few days she will only drink pure water. This strain has shown to be a fast flowering one; the flower seems to be mature, maybe in the eyes of some growers, it looks like I'm going to harvest earlier than expected, I just want to try to make her gain more volume.

JamesRenato Now we are in the eighth week of flowering, and she continues to develop new pistils and is getting closer to a ripe fruit. Today I can already say that the result would be quite satisfactory if I were to harvest, but I see that she has the potential to extend the cycle until the tenth week. I'm planning to harvest in eight days.

JamesRenato It's been 11 days since the last update, I had planned to harvest a few days ago but changed my mind when I saw that the buds are gaining more volume. In the last few days, I failed to water them and they ended up going dry for a day, so I noticed a decrease in smell; probably that stress volatilized some terpenes. I was already watering in flush mode, but due to what happened, I decided to go back to some supplements (Cal-Mag, Silica, and some Carbohydrates), with the intention of stimulating the production of new oils. I will be observing the trichomes, and when the first ones start changing color, that's when I'll harvest.
JamesRenato In the last week, I didn't invest here in the diary, but this was the sequence... from germination to harvest it took 16 weeks. The result helped me surpass my yield record, it was 110 grams of pure trimmed and dried flower, and I even discarded the very small buds. I also lost three top buds to botrytis fungus, but the rest of the plant was completely saved.
I liked the sweet and fruity flavor, but it’s not pungent, and the effect is sedative and relaxing; I found it strong because it resinated very well and the flowers were dense and firm.
Overall, this pheno was indeed the strongest, most productive, and easiest to grow plant I've ever done, but it didn't meet the expectations I had regarding the terpenes.
What happened with the fungus in my case became acceptable after a few cycles; in my conditions, it's not always possible to keep the VPD within the acceptable range, and the choice to go with all organic inputs ends up meaning that at the end of the day, the choice is to try to learn how to deal with this condition that sometimes seems even chaotic. I've always defended the idea that if in the end, I only get one flower, I'm already satisfied, but of course, my way of growing is without much criteria and yes, a method of an average grower who uses a simple system and only takes what is needed for personal use.
