Dantes Inferno #8 & Permanent Marker

karlderkfer Hey, It's pretty fun to write about your plants and upload pictures every now and then, so here's another diary entry. This is about 2 Dantes Inferno, one I received as a gift (so age unknown) and the one marked as DI 2 in the pictures I picked up at the grow shop I trust at the end of March. They should replace my current plants after the flowering phase and go straight into flowering, and I plan to add 3-4 seedlings to test a few phenos. I think 3-4 more weeks of veg is realistic. karlderkfer This time there are two different strains. The two big ones are the Dantes Inferno #8, both clones from other shops. The 4 small ones are Permanent Markers from the grow that is currently in the flowering stage.

karlderkfer After the other grow has been successfully completed, the ladies are now hanging to dry. Because of this, the flowering tent needs to be filled up again. I don't know the exact number of weeks since they have been just vegetating as mothers or something similar. In the 30L pots, there are 2 Dante's Inferno #8 cuts from different shops. In the 14L pots, there are cuttings from the Permanent Marker from the previous grow to make optimal use of the space. They are currently under 18/6, will be switched to 14/10 on Wednesday, and on July 7th, we will start with 12/12 so that hopefully the harvest will be ready by the end of September. In 1-2 weeks, new strains will be germinated and sent to veg until the flowering phase is over.

karlderkfer They are getting trimmed again and tied down a bit before going under the net and switching to 12/12 on Sunday. I’ll start reducing the light by 2 hours a day tomorrow or the day after. The two Dantes Inferno in the big tent are doing well. The big one is 102cm from tip to tip.

karlderkfer In the big pots are the Dantes, the small ones are the Permanent Markers. Today is the first day of 12/12 and they are now resting under the se5000 from Spider Farmer.

karlderkfer The Dantes Inferno is performing really well but unfortunately got too much fertilizer and is taking up way too much space; the 4 permanent markers and the smaller Dante have to squeeze in a bit. Unfortunately, everything has been a bit neglected due to vacation. Currently at day 7 of flowering on August 5th, it's time for defoliation and lollipopping. Tomorrow, bamboo stakes will probably go into the soil to support the shoots; they can barely hold themselves up without flowers.

karlderkfer Currently at day 14 of flowering They are all growing and thriving, about 85-100cm tall, and the buds are slowly starting to grow. The light has been running at 100% since today. Tomorrow a new exhaust and a new circulation fan are coming to improve the climate in the room a bit more. A GGS controller from Spider Farmer is also on the way to better read and control the values.

karlderkfer Currently, on day 20 of flowering, all have been defoliated a bit and lollipopped. In addition to the Tripart, there's now also PK 13/14 added in slow doses. They're all developing splendidly and are thirsty as hell.

karlderkfer Currently, it's day 26 of flowering, the buds are getting thicker and slowly taking shape, I'm looking forward to the next few days. The VPD value has been at 1.2 at night for 3 days and around 1.5 during the day, I can't control it any other way, but the plants seem to like it.

karlderkfer Photos are from day 32 of flowering. The buds are getting bigger every day, and some branches are starting to get so heavy that they're beginning to lean over. I'll have to rig something up to support them a bit. I really like the big Dante; the small one has prettier colors and feels like it has a bit more resin, but it's completely lagging behind and stagnating. However, I'll keep it going. The permanent marker buds also look pretty good and are starting to smell quite nice. The temperature is a bit high, but that's also because I turned down the exhaust since it's a bit loud while working on the plants; otherwise, it sits around 26 degrees.

karlderkfer Flower Day 39 Buds are slowly getting thicker and firmer, it's fun to watch them ripen. I had to secure all the plants with bamboo stakes and binding wire more and more, except for the little Dantes Inferno, since I wanted to do without a net this time to find out what works best for me in this rather inaccessible 1.56m2 space with a narrow door.

karlderkfer BT 46 Stink like hell Stick like hell Sexy like hell I'm leaving out PK 13/14 from now on, I'm curious to see how they do.

karlderkfer BT 55 They are super firm, smell really good but not too exaggerated for the flowering phase. They've been getting only pH-regulated water at 6.2 for the last 3-4 days until the end. I think they'll have about 8-10 more days of light and then another 2 days of darkness.

karlderkfer After 63 days of flowering and 2 days of complete darkness, it was time for the little ones, and they were hung up to dry. The scent of the Permanent Marker and the Dante are very similar, with the Dante drifting more towards the fruity direction, while the Permanent stays with the scent of gas, diesel, and thinner. The buds of the Permanent Marker are significantly larger and denser this time compared to the previous grow. I’m looking forward to when they are cut, and I can try and present the finished buds.

karlderkfer Just let it grow, fertilize properly, and give it a little pet now and then, then you can expect good results.

karlderkfer Super results, needs a bit more nutrients but then it completely impresses. Light training, otherwise just let it grow.
