birdmountain It's time to start the autoflowers so that they can mature during the hottest weeks of summer. The plan is to make them as comfortable as possible at the beginning. They should grow quickly without transplanting. They are germinated in a paper towel, then transferred to the Eazy Plug and that’s it. Roots should grow into the pre-fertilised old plant soil. The plant soil consists of last year's soil, mixed with some garden soil containing clay, sand and some perlite still contained in it. A 3% volume of fertiliser pellets should provide the necessary growth spurt until flowering begins. Then fertilise with either Plagron flower fertiliser or collected banana peels. Malted barley may also be added. Watering is only done with pure water from the cistern, as long as it lasts. I've only sown one seed because all of DutchPassion's seeds have always germinated so far. Wish me good luck 🍀🐞☀️💦 (I wish you good luck too!)

birdmountain The Auto Cinderella Jack has grown through the EazyPlug and is already rooting in the potting compost underneath. A little rooting aid was given and the drip irrigation was connected. Whether one dripper for 11 liters will be enough remains to be seen. Further drippers are still possible. The second leaf node is currently developing. It may be supported a little in the coming week.

birdmountain The Cinderella Jack shows signs of wanting to grow tall and become large, as evidenced by the size of its leaves compared to the length of its stem. This raises the question of whether I should simply grow it or bend it and use LST techniques. I've seen an excellent, albeit brief, diary of a Brit with an Auto Cinderella Jack of epic proportions. Maybe I have such a phenotype, too. Keep your fingers crossed for me! I topped up the soil in the plant pot with fertilized soil to make watering easier and more even. birdmountain Auto Cinderella Jack has finally made the longed-for growth spurt. Over 20 cm growth in one week, congratulations! It has not yet flowered and the lateral branching is still rudimentary. Seems to be a late bloomer. She is the only one of the autoflower ladies to show the upper leaves that are slightly curled upwards. Is it too much water? Although she has now started flowering, she will still stretch a bit, which means that she will be my biggest autoflower this year. However, this rapid increase in size also means a rather herbaceous and soft branch structure. In strong winds it would certainly topple over without support. birdmountain It is the tallest of my autoflowers this year, but it is lagging behind in development. It will probably need two weeks longer. Dutch Passion also mentions this in the description. The buds are now forming, and I tried to bend the branches down a little, but I failed because the additional weight of a slug caused the branch to break off at night. The installed fan is supposed to prevent mold formation, as the humidity is very high and the air is sometimes not moving at night.

birdmountain It is still growing in the lower side shoots, even though it is already flowering well. Unfortunately, gray mold has not spared it, and I had to remove a small piece of a bud. The fan in the foil tunnel is now blowing directly on it to reduce the humidity in the flowers, and the water supply has been reduced. Hopefully, it will make it to harvest in about 3-4 weeks. Auto Cinderella Jacks take a little longer, but they also grow stronger. It is the largest of my autoflower plants this year. Unfortunately, I also found some bud rot on it and removed it immediately. I try to give the autoflowers the best possible place under the fan. The branch, which was bent by the weight of snails, is hanging, but it is already growing upwards. See you next week!

birdmountain It still wants to keep growing, even though it's in full bloom—a growth wonder. It has a strong smell, a bit lemony but not too strong. It likes the potassium from banana peels in organic fertilizer.

Eine leicht anzubauende und schnell wachsende Sorte, so schnell, dass manche sie sogar toppen. Dafür wächst sie etwas längr als andere Autoflower. Die Buds waren sehr dick und fest. Das Nassgewicht hat mich dann doch etwas enttäuscht, ich hatte mit mehr gerechnet. Ich bin gespannt auf das Endgewicht. Der Rauchtest folgt in ein paar Wochen. 217g. Nassgewicht, weil ein Teil an der Pflanze verblieb und erst am 15.09. geschnitten wurde.

birdmountain She stood in the tent for the last week and wasn't watered, only the fan was running. A big caterpillar had hidden in her, which I discovered during a nighttime check. However, there was no visible damage.
