Kizzez The seed went into a rapid rooter into hydroton. The hydroton and rapid rooter plug were kept at field capacity and the humidity dome came off on the first day of life and she was doing great without any stress. Thanks for reading!

Kizzez She is growing fast. She looks to be a squat plant but I could be wrong. I’m hoping for a large harvest but not sure how strong. I hope it’s strong for the sake of the company. But that means I can’t enjoy a whole joint anymore now that my tolerance is down. I hope she continues to grow well. She is about to get defoliation in the next few days to encourage the inner growth. Thanks for reading

Kizzez A week and a half update. She’s doing well. She started stretching fast and in a day grew 3 inches a day ago. Her chlorosis is from the light being too close to the plant from fast growth. She’ll hopefully be stacking on weight soon.

Kizzez She has been amazing! Her stretch was well over 150%. Definitely a great grower but will probably take 100-120 days. I didn’t expect (nor want) a plant that would be fast nor small. So I am happy. She had one small side branch that grew into an adjoining light and was burnt to a crisp. I removed that set of buds and a few others. It’s early enough yet in the grow to lop what would equal half a gram to one gram dry. It’ll make up for that gram elsewhere. I’m pleasantly surprised so far with the plant. I am watching the airstones closer since the Apollo black cherry auto died from a failed airstone. I hope somehow I can get Seedstockers to send me a replacement for the critical auto xxl that turned to mush in the rooter. If there’s a rep from Seedstockers on here, and you’re willing to replace the seed and send me 1 replacement critical xxl auto seed, I’d be very happy to write a diary as soon as I’d get it )but it’d be in a different environment) or wait for the next run and go from there. (I am growing a small plant for myself that should be done in about a month and would be much easier on me to grow and much cheaper too. Plus I don’t need a lot right now. I want to start focusing on growing 1-2 plants at a time instead of more so I can grow them to their fullest potential. That black cherry auto is one that I have to grow by itself and train. I’d wager a guess I can get 350-400 grams off of some of the Seedstockers seeds. Thanks for reading! Hopefully someone reaches out.

Kizzez She is growing well, a few spots of deficiency but that’s ok. A slight burnt leaves at the top from the light. Still gotta get that one down better (light distance) I am happy with her and am excited to see what she produces. Thanks for reading

Kizzez I changed around the ph like suggested and began to get brown spots on my leaves. I went back to the ph I know will get me through the grow. She also got some heat burn for two reasons. The spot where there’s a few leaves crispy near eachother are from another light burning the leaves. The other burning in the tips is from high heat in the grow room for 2 days. I will try my best to get her to ride out to harvest and be ok. This is a kinda bummer having nutrient problems I never had before :( Thanks for reading

Kizzez I have had issues with mold the last few grows so I installed an oscillating fan in the room. She’s a bit crispy from the heat waves around here. She will definitely make it to the finish line and be perfect. 3-4 weeks should be good. I expect the fan leaves to get worse as the heat waves persist but it’s what I have to do. Trying to change the ph from my normal also made the leaves worse so that also has to do with why she’s not perfect. She is happy and as healthy as you can get in this heat when nothing cools it down. Thanks for reading

Kizzez She has a fan blowing directly on her to keep her from molding out. I am working to adjust this new fan to the set up. She’s coming along well and will be a great smoke. I am about to take an early test bud to see what she will be all about. Nothing else is new. Thanks for reading

Week 11. Harvest

Happy Harvest Day!

She was a fast plant from the start. I didn’t believe the 9-10 week window but I am chopping on day 78 as she is done. I could let her get more bulbous (I guess). I pushed her very hard to see how she performs in just “OK” conditions. The heat level spiked dramatically to the mid 80’s and a fan right on her also seems to crisp her. I think I need to dial in the light a bit more so I don’t burn the leaves from the light… that or raise it more than I do. I did not get a wet weight but she was a beauty as I lightly trimmed her. I plan to use a roller I made to get the nugs nice and tightly trimmed and so I can collect the sugar trim I left on it for edibles. She was an easy grow, 78 days! Exactly what the breeder describes as the time window for the best results.l (they say harvest in 9-10 weeks but 1 more weeks did help tighten up the buds. She smells very sweet and very candy smelling. She seems right on par with the description of her on the page. So far I am pretty happy with Seedstockers, I don’t have to pay a fortune for seeds and they are quality grows. I have about a gram dry quick drying in my grow room. Tomorrow I will have a good feel for how she will be smoke wise. Very fun grow because I didn’t have expectations, and it was fun that way! The plant ended up yielding right over 200 grams (201g). I took about an eighth for testing for proper drying in an herbs now dryer. I know I won’t get the best but she tastes great already. I am ordering more of these as they are amazing! She tastes like a mix of candy and floral with a hint of herbs. Two of my favorite flavors! Has a noticeable northern lights “taste” to it, that dosent bother me as it keeps the smell down and my neighbors won’t be annoyed at the smell.
