Hi there mate the ph rise you are seeing is the result of your plants simply taking up water and/or nutients from the soil. if you are worried about to high a ph level you can add a little bit of liquid sulphur to your feed I use dolomite lime and mix it thru my soil pre grow which can help stabilize the ph a bit.

A sufficient amount of Phosphorous and Potassium is required for big buds. You have those both in check. NL can produce big buds nevertheless you have a SCROG net to support those colas as they will develop. You have everything covered for a good harvest. The remaining factors will be temperatures and your light efficiency. Going forward, if you can, start reducing your humidity below 50% and your buds will be white simply covered in trichomes. Leave remaining fan leave and do not defoliate any further. That's the best advice I can give you 👍

This might be a bit late, but you could start feeding at 2 weeks. I start at week 2 and use Flora Micro and Flora Grow. I've never had any issues, but it is wise to start at about 1/4 of the suggested amount. Grow looks good. You should end up with some heavy buds on those Northern Lights.

@zedoninha Hi mate I popped in a possible solution to your new question Good luck and happy growing 🙏

@zedoninha, I wouldn't remove any colas Maybe a few leaves to allow more air flow but never colas 😱
zedoninha
zedoninhacommented5 years ago
@DILLIGAF, Yes, i'm doubleing up the dose, since 4 or 5 weeks old! All good on that matter. The thing with the shape of the plant is that it has alot of colas, and i'm afraid it's too compact for proper development. I might have to cut some colas to give the others some space! Thanks for your comment!

@zedoninha, What are you trying to say? Gnats dont like sticky sex? 😉
zedoninha
zedoninhacommented6 years ago
@Puffer_Bill, It's insect traps (with glue), to stop them from having more sex all over the place.

Solutions for controlling the pest If pests are present, allow the soil to dry to a depth of one to two inches between waterings. This not only kills the larvae and inhibits the development of eggs, it also makes the soil less attractive to egg-laying females. Use Yellow Sticky Traps placed horizontally at the soil surface to capture large numbers of egg laying adults. The gnats are attracted to yellow and can easily be removed from the trap before they can lay more eggs. Top dress houseplants with beneficial nematodes to destroy the larval stage. Nematodes are microscopic roundworms that penetrate fungus gnat larvae, as well as harmful lawn and garden grubs, fleas, and other soil-borne pests (they do not harm earthworms), and then release a bacterium that consumes the pest from the inside out. The long-lasting nematodes are safe for use around pets, plants, and your family. I got this off a website.

@zedoninha, My guerrilla growing friend gave me some soil to put a few seedling into for him.... the 1st thing I noticed was gnats. Once he took his seedlings away... I said never again. Soil to me seems a hard way. ✌️🏼😎

@Puffer_Bill, Thanks, I have so wait two weeks more ( fungus gnats life cycle is a month ) to see if the perlite+ H2O2 worked. If it didn´t i'm gonna try the nematodes

That's gr🎱. Beat the gnats. Your plants have a great shape, good job. Do you think you should eradicate the gnats completely, if possible before switching over to 12/12. I have read that gnats can stress out a plant. Maybe entering flower mode stressed up...might not be the best way to go into flower mode? That's just my assumption? ✌️🏼😎

@Puffer_Bill, Thanks for the input! That´s the plan, take care of the gnats before entering into flower. 3 weeks ago i took some clones of the NL and i think i'm gonna flower them also.

Ouch! Sorry about the breaker. 😩. I did the same on my 1st grow. Main stem I think, but wasn't right off, do I duck taped it together. That plant ended up giving me the most bud in weight. Photos are on my diary 7 wedding cakes and a kosher kush. In the 1st week of that diary I added some photos of my 1st grow. Unfortunately I didn't do a diary. You will see the taped up stem/branch. ✌️🏼😎
