BudBeezy Purple Lemonade FF Bonsai Hello welcome to my new Growdiarie, nice to see you again. Today I will start my first bonsai project and take you with me on my journey. Something special will happen to the plant but I don't want to give too much informations yet. As in the previous grows, I decided to use the water glass method for germination. After about 48 hours the seedling root formed. The seedling was planted approx. 1 cm deep into the 1 litre pot. This time I used the Lightmix from Plagron. Plagron Lightmix N 180 mg/L - P 210 mg/L - K 360 mg/L Set-Up: Now a few words about my setup. I have full confidence in AC Infinity. During my research, I have only heard good things about AC Infinity. So what can I say? When the package arrived I was immediately impressed by the high quality. From the packaging to the product, everything is perfect. I ordered the lamp from kingbrite. The advantage of the lamp is that you can adjust the angle of the LED panels. The lamp is also compatible with the controller using adapter type b . Watering was done with a 50/50 mixture of distilled water and tap water. Our tap water has a high calcium content, so I diluted it. I fertilized with some Vodoo Juice from Advanced Nutrients. Avg. Temperature - 23°C Avg. Humidity - 62% Avg. VPD - 1,05kPA The lamp runs at 10% which is 115w according to the energy meter. At a distance of 35cm the plant gets 300ppfd. The leaves are starting to droop and are turning slightly yellow. The soil does not contain enough nutrients and there is apparently not enough space for the root system. Maybe I didn't water it enough, as the pot doesn't hold very much water. She was also topped this week. Unfortunately, repotting will have to wait because I have something special planned for the plant, but you will find out about that soon. To help the plant feel a little better, I added B52 from Advanced Nutrients to the water this week. Avg. Temperature - 24°C Avg. Humidity - 59% Avg. BudBeezy TPB Purple Lemonade FF Bonsai Welcome to week 4 of my grow diary. Now I can finally present the result of my planning to you. A friend of mine 3D printed the FastBuds logo for me. However, there were some problems with the white part of the logo, so I ordered some epoxy resin and filled the recess with it. I am very happy with the result. The plant now has its new home. The pot volume is 3 liters. Repotting was a bit complicated because I had to wash all the soil off the roots. The plant was placed in the center of the logo and had to be secured because otherwise it would have tipped over. After I repotted it, it recovered relatively quickly. Avg. Temperature - 23°C Avg. Watering is now a little more difficult because the roots above the rim of the pot dry out quickly. The lower part retains moisture much better than the upper part. The plant is now in my drying tent because the light cycle in my main tent is still running for 18 hours. Since I don't have a professional grow light for this little tent, I had to improvise with LED bulbs. Three 17W bulbs with 4000K and 2000 lumens each are now hanging in this tent. That should be enough for now. Unfortunately, I only have a cheap sensor that doesn't save the values. I also decided to remove several of the side shoots to create a more even appearance. Since the forecast for the entire week is bad, I decided to harvest the plant. There's no point in risking mold at this late stage. Now we have reached the end of my first bonsai project. I will definitely do it again in the future, as I was not entirely satisfied with the result. Next time I would repot the plant earlier and encourage her to flower sooner. I would also leave more side shoots, as it looks a little bare at the end. Now let's move on to the very last update on my bonsai project. Since I had already grown this strain as an autoflowering variety and really liked it, I wanted to grow it again as an FF. The plan was actually to grow the plant outdoors in a large 55-liter pot, but then I decided to grow it as a bonsai instead. I got a good pheno that also turned a beautiful purple. Considering the size of the pot, the flowers developed well, which I honestly didn't expect. The flowers smell and taste extremely lemony. The effect is uplifting and doesn't make you tired. You will definitely see another bonsai from me. But only once I have filled the entire tent with photoperiod plants. See you next time
