Helmi1704 After running three autos of another strain in week 4 in my first tent, I totally caught the grow bug and ended up getting a second 60x60 tent. The tent and exhaust are pretty budget-friendly, but I decided to spend a bit more on a decent light. This time I’m growing Isla Mirage from Royal Queen Seeds. I dropped one seed straight into a small pot with BioBizz Light Mix, and it popped there just fine. The pot’s sitting on a heat mat to keep things cozy. Had some trouble with humidity at the start, but that’s all sorted now. We recently built our house right next to my parents’, and my mom has always been a bit of an “anti-drug” crusader. She knows about my little hobby and was absolutely outraged when she found out. Just to poke the bear a little, I decided to name the plant Mutterherz (“Mother’s Heart”). Really excited to see how this one turns out! ⛺️ : 60x60 / 2x2 💡 : GreenCeption 160W 🌱 : RQS Isla Mirage

Helmi1704 Today marks week one since she first saw the light of day. She’s coming along wonderfully and got 100ml of water yesterday. Because of the mineral content in my tap water, I mix in about a quarter distilled water and treat it with Mono Magnesium. I also added 25% of the BioBizz Root Juice schedule. I adjusted the pH down to 6.5. The light is set to 25% power, giving her around 12 DLI over an 18-hour cycle. The whole grow is basically running on autopilot right now — the conditions are looking great. Can’t wait to see how the next few weeks unfold!

Helmi1704 This past weekend it was time for my girl’s first big move: transplanting into a larger pot. I had read that once the leaves reach past the edge of the pot, it’s time. And yes, it definitely was. But unfortunately, for a completely different reason… 😬 Trying to do everything right, I had started the seed in a coco pellet to protect the roots from the nutrients in the BioBizz Lightmix. I then placed the pellet directly into the soil. Sounded like a solid plan. Or so I thought. What I didn’t realize was that the mesh around the pellet was too tight, and the root never managed to push through. 🚫🌱 This turned into a stressful emergency operation. Removing the mesh was nerve-wracking. Every move had to be precise and gentle. But two days later, she’s still standing strong 💪 I think she survived the ordeal. Since the substrate was dry and the pot felt very light, I gave her a careful watering. Not too much, just enough to help her settle into her new home. 💧 The next few days will show whether she’s a true fighter and if she’s willing to forgive my rookie mistakes. 🤞😊

Helmi1704 The past few days have been a bit of a rollercoaster. First we got hit with some insane storms that cranked the humidity way up 🌧️💨. Just when things started to calm down, a brutal heatwave rolled in, hitting 91°F (33°C) 🔥. The plant definitely had to dig deep to get through that combo. But hey, she took it like a champ 💪 and powered through this unholy trinity of stress: repotting, extreme humidity, and blazing heat. Growth is still nice and compact 🌿 with tight internodal spacing. No signs of deficiencies on the leaves either. Everything’s looking green and happy ✅. This week I fed her using 75% of the BioBizz feeding schedule . Since my tap water has a pretty wild imbalance between calcium and magnesium, I added about 10% distilled water and gave her a tiny boost with some MagMono. Watered about one-third of the pot’s volume, roughly 1 liter, with a bit of runoff 💧. pH was dialed in to 6.4. Depending on how she develops, a second repot might be on the table next week

Helmi1704 The past few days have been a bit hectic, so the ladies didn’t get as much love as they usually do 🌬️🌱 That also means I’m running a little behind on this grow diary update 😅 Summer is in full swing and really turning up the heat – we’re hitting 36°C during the day, and even at night there’s barely any cooldown The portable AC holds up pretty well while the lights are on, but once lights-off hits, I have to shut the blackout blinds for complete darkness… and that means no more airflow from the AC ❌💨 I topped the main girl recently – first time ever ✂️👀 It felt a bit strange at first, but I went for it. After topping, I started LST by tying down the main branches gently with some soft wire. Despite the high temps and my rookie training attempts, she’s exploding with growth and doesn’t seem too bothered 💪🌿 She’s responding really well so far, which is a huge relief! Still running BioBizz nutes – currently at around 75% of the full feed schedule. No signs of deficiencies or burn so far 🤞🍀

Helmi1704 This week was as wild as the weather 🌪️🔥🌧️ After crazy high temps came heavy rain, sky-high humidity, and chilly nights dropping to 12°C (outdoor temps) 🌡️💧🌙 Our lady got one good watering, and LST training continued 💪🌿 It’s actually my first time topping a plant (last week), and I’ve been getting hands-on with plant clips and training wire. So far, I’m pretty happy with the results — though I might’ve gone a little overboard 😅 So now I’m giving Isla Mirage some time to rest and bounce back 🌱💤
