Cherry Cola 12/12

CannaTrope I'm growing this one auto along side three photos. Light schedule is 20/4 L/D for five to six weeks and then 12/12 for around 10 weeks. Let's see how this goes. With this schedule the plant will receive 240 light hours over the 16 weeks. Typically I would grow for 200 to 220 light hours for an auto over ten weeks. Organic soil amendments are the same as Papaya Sherbet 2nd grow which is another active and current grow.

CannaTrope These were grown for six weeks on 20hrs of light now they are on 12/12 for the next ten weeks. Let's see how this goes. All organic till week 6

CannaTrope I'm happy with how these grew on 12/12 light cycle and they are getting chonky enough, but the plant is certainly on the small side. So, I always wondered if autos would develop slower under a 12/12 light cycle. Honestly, these plants ended up smaller than average and only developed flowers marginally slower. I wonder what the internal mechanism is? I thought it could have been related to DLI, with lower light just delaying development. Now I'm leaning towards more of a growing degree day GDD having more influence on growth and development mechanisms. I have had autos get really massive and flower late but often that was when temps were 16-20C, vs the 23-25C that my grows often sit at now during veg.
