billycardine0420king The room in June is 80 degrees so no heat pad needed, I mist the dome and cubes with ph adjusted plain water and within 48 hours could see a bubba kush and Bruce banner had sprouted. Day 3. I can see seed sprouts in all the ILGM seeds and a few Sensi seeds as well but they are not coming up quite as fast. Day 4. I see at least half of all seeds has sprouted with cotyledons present so adding lights on weakest intensity on a 18/6 light cycle but keeping dome on another few days. Day 5. Every seed except a candy hash sprouted but a gg and bb died after but all the rest are sprouted.

billycardine0420king Had great success sprouting my seeds in just ph adusted tap water. Today I prepared a light feeding with canna coco a,b, and cannazyme, then of course, adjusted the ph to around 6.1 .Yes im aware im not using coco but this shit is expensive and works with rockwool and hydroton as well. No dome on now at all, so im misting several times a day and putting some extra nutrient solution in the clone tray to prevent dry out. Light is on a 18/6 timer and on the lowest setting with the dimmer. Day 2- The seedlings look a bit leggy, which I think is from adding the light too late, but I turned up the intensity of the LED just a half a notch. I measured the light and it is exactly 2 feet from the top of the clone or seedling tray. I know 945ppm sounds high for little seedlings, but im using city water that starts at 545ppm so there is 400ppm of nutes in the water. Day 3- raised LED light intensity to 20%. Day 4-raised LED intensity to 30% and I put my little seedlings into net pots with hydroton and this weekend will prepare my reservoir and start flooding and draining. PH had swung up to 6.8 again so adjusted with 50ml of PH down which took me to 6.0

billycardine0420king Week 2 VEG Day 1- prepared 20 gallon reservoir with above concentration of nutes then adjusted ph to 6.1 . Went to set up 15 min timer but it doesn’t seem to work so bought one on Amazon but will make it flood every other hour for 15 mins unless light is off then less when timer comes, I’ll manually flood several times per day until then. I also fired up my 2nd LED light at 30% intensity. MISTAKE MADE: I NEED TO PUT ROCKWOOL CUBES ON BOTTOM OF THE NET POT NEXT TIME SO THAT THE FLOODING HITS THE CUBE BEFORE IT HAS ROOTS HANGING FROM THE BASKETS. Most are getting wet no problem but a few I put the damn rockwool in too high in the net pot but manual watering till I got good roots and my timer in the mail. Day 2- flooding the table twice a day seems to be a good system for now. My leggy seedlings are too heavy and some propped up but I’ve not lost a single one so hopefully all is good so far. This is my first time sprouting seeds in rockwool. Seedlings looked a little better today, I think I was flooding them too much the first day and not allowing the wet dry cycle but just 2 floodings today they looked good. I also turned on the AC to get the temp down a bit, so temp isnt hovering above 80 degrees and drying out the cubes so fast. Day 3- weekend so I woke up at 9:30 and the seedlings looked a little dry so 12 hours without a flood was too long but none died and got good growth but I really need a timer ASAP to keep these babies wet. I dont see roots hanging from baskets yet, but they are getting super close. Raised both lights to 50% intensity. Day 4- I checked resevoir ph and it has swung up quite a bit to 6.8 so I topped off my resevoir with about 4 gallons of water then adjusted ph to 6.2. Nute ppms were at 800 and resevoir temp was 76 degrees. To get a 25 gallon resevoir from 6.8 to 6.2 was not capfulls but a few small pours into resevoir. I just realize I used lemon juice instead of ph down to adjust ph. I also raised intensity to 60% on both lights. Day 4- plants look great, going from fragile seedling to young plant with nice root system. Raised both light intensity to 70%, I feel like im raising intensity pretty fast but they look better and better each day as I do. Day 5- 12 hours without a flood is too long with the heat and how young the plants are so I had a silver haze and 2 jack herer wilt a bit but hopefully I can save them. Everything is on a timer now, table floods every 9 hours. The rest of the plants that were more established look great but I stressed the less hearty ones. Day 6- ph swung to 6.5 so adjusted to 6, everything looking great except the 2 jh that wilted but the sh has already recovered. It got too dry and too hot without timers a few days back.

billycardine0420king Week 3- day1. Drained resevoir and cleaned stuff up and refilled resevoir with above nutrient concentration and adjusted ph to 5.5 I just want to make a special shout out to Bob with Sensi seed co and that company themselves, I told them the truth that all but 1 of my seeds sprouted but that I killed my most expensive seeds my Jack Herer and they sent me a replacement pack, LONG LIVE SENSI SEED CO!!!!!! I also raised the intensity of both lights to 100%. The heat right now is killer so trying to keep temperatures at bay which is only a struggle when its literally 100 degrees outside, I see one or two with what I believe to be heat stress so due to heat I had one light off during hottest part of the day. Day 2- plants look great, ph at 5.6 so left alone. Heat wave outside so just trying to keep ‘em cool till it passes. Day 3 or 4- Plants are growing nicely but got some heavy droopy plants I believe are from over watering. I have been manually watering in this heat wave and I got water on some creating a few burns and just overwatered them, so going to dial back the watering today. As soon I have roots a little lower in the new pots, no manual watering will be necessary. I believe most of them at this point are being watered by flooding alone. Day 5- Tested light intensity and got a reading of 1250. I read over 1000 can burn plants so I think the unhappy looking plants, especially in this heat, is from light burn, so dialed back light intensity to a reading close to 1000. I also saw signs of overwatering on some as I have been manually watering the plants till I get roots in bottom of pots, but I dialed it back to 2 floods a day, during lights on only. End of day 5, they look so much better, they looked stressed big time and now im positive I had too much light. I no longer think I was overwatering, the plants were droopy from transpiring from too much light. Day 6- This heatwave this week, along with me maxing out both grow lights, definetly stressed my plants. I turned off one light all together and just using 1 at 70% intensity. Plant height is ranging from 6-8 inches, about halfway to flower. Week 3 of veg in a heat wave is over and mistakes were made lol. I was under watering in this heat and set up timer to every 2 hours for 15 mins, then just once mid way through the 6 hour lights off period and today they look like they are liking this very well. I think week 4 will be very fruitful 0420

billycardine0420king Week 4 of Veg Day 1.- Im just checking the resevoir level and ph every day and letting it do its thing as I now believe I have it dialed in at a flood every 2 hours except during lights out and I just flood once to keep roots from drying out too bad, so this week unless there are issues, Ill just post pics every couple days. 👽 Day 3- Started playing Grateful Dead music to my plants during every second of lights on and only off for 4 hours of lights off. The power of the Jerr Bear transcends time and space and plants. 😎 Heading into the July 4th weekend and they are growing like weeds. A few still have some yellowing at the tops from me stressing them with too little flooding a week ago but its dialed in and we wildin' 😜 Installed a new air conditioner and I have a thermostat to make it come on at 80 degrees but I blew a fuse so I need a heavy duty extension cord but everything is going very good. Its been so hot that even during lights out im flooding every 2 hours. Canopy is approaching 18 inches so the next resevoir change in a few days I will start feeding early flower. I made a couple inch bed of hydroton in my flood table but ran out, but got a big bag on the way. Anyways its flower power time!!!!

billycardine0420king The canopy is 16-18” so starting to transition to flower, which is great it’s been a super hot summer and 6 less hours of lights sounds great. 7/9 which is day 2 I switched lights to 12/12 and refilled resevoir to early flower and adjusted ph to 5.5 I switched to flooding every 3 hours as my bed of hydroton stays wet all the time. Again this week I do not suspect any issues so I will just check ph daily and let it do its thing and post some pics every couple days. I take my old resevoir water and dilute it, then dump it in my garden. I read a comment about the resevoir change and it reminded me to add that yes, I dump the old water and clean it out with just hot water and wiping it down inside clean and I start all over again. I have a number of Sativa strains in this grow so I ordered a scrog net and will set it up this week to start spreading out the canopy but waiting until my big bag of hydroton comes so I can even out the bed and make a more solid bed for the roots to bury and hide from my lights. 7/15 I can see the first white hairs and we officially have flowering plants.

billycardine0420king Starting to see flower power!!!! Just pics, just adding water and adjusting ph. Nutes are 2/3 gone, about to change reservoir. Setting up scrog net and converting flood table to a drip system, but as always, always missing something and had to order a few pvc fittings to make a proper frame for the scrog net. 7/29- These sativas are stretching to the moon and I am having trouble controlling their height. I broke a plant training the tops down so next run I need to flower sativas at 1 foot they just go nuts.

billycardine0420king I switched to flower at 18" aproximately but that was a mistake without training with all the sativas and hybrids, I have plants reaching past my lights and crashing into them. I fucked that up but there is always next time, but not all bad news, I see frosty nuggets everywhere clear to my ceiling. 😧 Fed plants with above nutes which is simply following the canna coco feed schedule "heavy" feeding. The plants are gobbling up 80% or more of the nutes in my 25 gallon resevoir in about a weeks time. 400ml canna coco A and B, 300 canna boost and 250 cannazym which gave me 1250ppm which is the highest yet so I will have to be vigilant to adding water so that the ppms dont go much higher.
