BlaKX Greetings Growmies of the Zombie Kush 👨🌾👨🌾👨🌾
Outdoor grow is on!
On April 25th, an extra cutting arrived as a gift from the Krumme-Gurken from Austria. Since then, it has been growing for 5 weeks under 200w CFL 6500k light at 18/6.
1st Week:
Canna START 4 ml/L
Canna Ryzotronic 4 ml/L (first watering)
2nd Week:
Canna Terra Vega 2.5 ml/L
Canna Ryzotronic 2 ml/L
Cannazym 1.5 ml/L
Canna Calmag Agent 0.1 ml/L
3rd-5th Week:
Canna Terra Vega 5 ml/L
Canna Ryzotronic 2 ml/L
Cannazym 2.5 ml/L
Canna Calmag Agent 0.5 ml/L
From June 1st, it went out to Mother Nature at 56cm height.
Since then, it has rained multiple times and there was a thunderstorm. It has also endured a temperature drop to 10°C. Since then, the stem has turned a bit purple.
I could spot the first pre-flowers, but it should really start to bloom only after June 21st.
From morning until 5 PM, the Zombie Kush gets direct sunlight, then it lies in the shade. It should be safe from snails and other pests.
I'm grateful for any tips; the pot could be bigger, I think to myself for next time if that works in the hole.
At least it’s big enough for outside ^^

BlaKX Hey Gude Growmies,
Last week was quite the ride for the plant, with temperatures ranging from just 5°C at night to 30°C during the day.
Fortunately, I haven't spotted any insects or other pests so far.
Otherwise, it looks perfectly healthy and very vibrant to me. Hope it stays that way. I'll skip the individual weather data for now, but I'll be very precise when it goes into flowering.

BlaKX High Growmies,
The heat has been tough on the plant and unfortunately, it's dried out a bit. Since I was out for 2 days, I had no choice but to soak the pot (it's an 18l pot, not 15) in mixed nutrient solution.
Now I have a reference weight again. It's made a decent jump in height since then.
If the sun keeps blazing like this, I'll move the Zombie Kush so that the pot isn't in direct sunlight anymore.

BlaKX Hey there, Growmies of the well-maintained outdoor fun!
The pot is now covered with old leaves and garden waste. Before that, everything was left in the blazing sun for 2 days.
I also tied the plant down to get it out of the direct sunlight and positioned it so that the pot isn't cooking in the sun anymore.
Shame on me, I forgot to water it for 1 day, which I corrected by submerging the pot, and since then, it's been using 6 liters of water daily.
I tied it down from 92cm to 72cm.
Fertilized the substrate with guano to avoid using mineral fertilizers until flowering.

BlaKX Hey Gude Growmies!
She’s been getting only long-term fertilizer that I mixed in for over a week now, which has a higher nitrogen content, so it’s perfect for growth until flowering. There are a few yellowing leaves at the bottom, but given her size and the fact that I haven't added any extra fertilizer, she looks good. If any deficiencies get worse, I’ll add some mineral nutrients.

BlaKX Hey Gude Growmies,
Unfortunately, the worst happened to me in the heat; the plant was so dry the pot didn't weigh anything.... I was struggling health-wise, and my girlfriend thought that since it rained at night, there was no need to water....
I set up an experiment 7 days ago using old soil with roots and soil life from different places in the forest and mixed it in superficially. I actually wanted to repot, but I will wait 1 week and after soaking with Canna Rhizotonic and Cannazym, I'll add a bit of water.

BlaKX Hey Gude Growmies, what a root porn!
What I noticed before the transplanting started was that there were already roots from the pot grabbing onto the moss from the floor tiles.
The switch from mineral to organic nutrients seems to be working without issues; I only see one discolored leaf from the bottom, which I consider normal.
The root zone looks like something out of a picture book! Since the drying out, I've only been watering it with water, covering the pot surface with plant mulch and remnants for soil life and water retention.
This Zombie Kush has withstood every weather so far and is extremely resilient. I got it as a test cutting from Krumme-Gurken as a selected purple pheno. Whether this beauty turns purple in the fall or not is almost irrelevant to me given its resilience, as long as the flowering period continues like this.

BlaKX Finally back to current Growmies!!!! 💚💚💚
2 months aka 8 weeks permanently outdoor Zombie Kush 🧟♂️💜 (Purple Pheno) from Krumme-Gurken as a test cutting received on April 25th at about 2 weeks old.
Through my engagement with soil, soil life, fungi, and microorganisms, I came to the question: can I switch a plant that has been mineral fertilized according to the schedule to organic fertilizer along with soil life that can also make the nutrients available?!
Since the COMPO BIO NATURDÜNGER MIT GUANO has NPK values of 7+4+5 plus magnesium and calcium, and according to the packaging, it improves soil life and promotes microorganisms, as well as providing stable nutrition for the plant for weeks, I only distributed 2 tablespoons of guano around the edge because the flowering will start in about 3-4 weeks and they don’t need flowering fertilizer directly in the first 2 weeks.
I would need a flowering guano fertilizer or something similar (please suggest) otherwise I would fertilize them mineral again from the flowering stage.
Since my tap water has too little calcium according to the values, which I have also noticed, I bought Canna Mono Calcium and algae lime.
But I would say the plant is top fit and that’s only with water. However, I got the BioCanna 3 plant set with Vega, Flores, and Bio Rhizotonic for testing so I have an organic option and comparison. ^^
A short personal note as an ADHD/pain patient with opiates and methylphenidate:
As much as I love using GD or social media to be part of the community, it is extremely exhausting when you can only use one thumb and hand to write and take photos, so it’s fun because it challenges me to work motorically with my hands.
Due to Morbus Sudeck in my left thumb to index finger area, everything is stiff and immobile, and the destroyed nerves from a previous carpal tunnel surgery combined with ADHD lead to sensory overload where my plants ground me best and calm me down without smoking. Or I can discontinue the medication Pregabalin under medical supervision and regain quality of life with cannabis from my own cultivation and depot injection! The accident, surgery, 9 weeks in intensive care was 3 years ago and almost 1 year here on GROWDIARIES, which is the best self-therapy for me, especially thanks to the people and the shared passion here on Growdiaries!

BlaKX Hey Gude Growmies,
These days it hasn't been too hot, but still, she's gotten a bit dried out and limp. Luckily, the soil is still moist and not hydrophobic. You can tell she's starting to prepare for flowering, and her growth is definitely changing.
When flowering starts, I'll be feeding her with BioCanna Vega for 2 weeks and then switch to Flores.
It's pretty crazy that during the time the Zombie Kush is just sitting outdoors, I've managed to do 2 autoflower grows, but that's because they were seedlings^^

BlaKX SHE IS FLOWERING Love Growmies!
She has definitely been in bloom for a week now 💚💚💚
I switched to organic fertilizer and the guano from Compo is almost used up.
That's why I will use BioCanna Vega and Flores, so I will fertilize with Vega this week and switch to Flores next week. I'm curious to see how the fertilizer performs; for outdoor it just seems more practical, and I'm excited to see if it achieves an even better taste.
If she has 7 weeks of flowering to prepare, she will be ready by the end of September, which would be optimal!
With a stem diameter of 2.5cm, it's already something💜🤜🏻🤛🏻💚

BlaKX Hi Growmies, this heat!
I had to water 8 liters at least once a day, and if I had probably repotted into an even bigger pot, I wouldn't have this problem, but I have limited space in front of my window and I'm making the best of it. I treated the ZK to some mycorrhizal fungus granules again.

I will defoliate again in the coming days and see how she processes the organic Bio Canna and if I possibly discover any deficiencies.
I will also stabilize some branches on the main stem with garden wire. I hope that she turns purple.

BlaKX Hey Gude Growmies,
I actually wanted to let her grow like Mother Nature intended, but that would end up in mold and leaves.
So I removed all the unnecessary sun leaves and foliage to get good airflow and sunlight to the buds.
She handled the procedure super well and is now focusing on the buds ;)

BlaKX Growmies, the weather god isn't being very nice right now :(
I can somewhat protect her from the rain with the roof overhang.
Despite the little sunshine, she is starting to produce resin and terpenes, and you can already smell a delicious kush aroma.

But the Zombie Kush is developing super well without any problems. However, if the weather isn't good for an extended period, I will harvest early before it molds.

BlaKX High Growmies,
One outdoor plant already had mold, I carefully examined the Zombie Kush and luckily found no cases!
Its terpenes and resin production have increased, and next week I will harvest it if we have a week of nice weather before a worst-case scenario happens.

BlaKX The selected pheno from the Krumme-Gurken was my first cutting from them and had to show what it can do and withstand outdoors! It didn't disappoint, and switching from mineral to organic long-term fertilizer was no problem. It has a terpene profile that lets the Lavender Kush lineage shine through with that lavender and slight chocolate note at the end. I removed a few branches, and they were dry after 1 week, and wow, no hay taste or aroma, just a slight sharpness from the chlorophyll; otherwise, a delicious Kush pheno with lavender notes :P
@FatnastyzBudz,That would explain a lot because flying snails that leave no trace except for slime on top of the leaves but how do they even get over the edge of the pot ^^
Happy harvesting! Dude, do you even have enough jars or buckets for the whole harvest?^^ It looks really tasty and it's cool that you had so much luck with Resi and all that 🍀🌿
@Kushycat, yeah I have a problem, the main bud is too big and I have to store it in the yellow bag xD otherwise, 2 indoor autoflower strains managed to produce the buds you see in the photo in 63 days!
You could also give her a bigger pot if that's an option for you. Otherwise, you risk falling behind with the feeding and watering once she really takes off, and possibly with heat coming in too. So far, she definitely looks good and promising. ✌️
You still have time. From June 21, the days will get shorter, but it won't start blooming until August. Still plenty of time to shape it the way you want. 😏
Beautiful lady. But it's better to plan for 4-5 weeks. In two weeks, she definitely won't be ready. So far, the weather forecasts for the next 2 weeks are okay for fall. No risk, No Fun 😜
