Comfrey There's not much to report. I've watered her once and pinched off a leaf. The scent in the garden is very pleasant. She has an enchanting aroma that stands out clearly in the overall bouquet of the garden herbs, yet blends in so well that it doesn't draw attention. I love the scent.

Comfrey Unfortunately, I had to remove some droppings from some animal on a lower flower. I suspect it was a garden snail. Or does anyone have an idea? I hope no one spread rat poison on it in the end. I'm not sure what it could be. Otherwise, it's developing very nicely. The scent is really very pleasant.

What is it? I spottet something strange on one of a lower flower branch. Does anyone have an idea what it might be? Shit from burgundy snales or mice? Rat poison on it? I took away all of the visible dirt but I‘m not sure if it‘s a good idea to use these flowers later.

That's weird, isn't it? Looks a bit like caterpillar poo. In two pics out of three, I can find leaves eaten by what looks like a caterpillar. Just shake it off, then use tweezers to remove any more. Don't let it rain on it before you clean it off... that's when I wouldn't want to smoke it. Now is fine if you remove it all. You can even dunk your branches in a large bucket of water and shake off any remaining undesirables at harvest. Then shake off excess water, hang in a fan or breeze out of direct light to dry the water off. Then dry, cure and smoke as normal. It should be fine. Good luck and well done getting your plants to this stage.

Comfrey The Elephant has stayed quite small, but its huge trunk still impresses me a lot. It will stay a bit longer, but I don't think for much longer. The smell is very pleasant. The Elephant is already very resinous and sticky in the tenth week, which will probably intensify again by week 12. I'm satisfied and looking forward to the result.

Comfrey The scent lingered a bit, and the humidity rose. The end. The grow took only 83 days from seed to harvest of the ripe buds. Unfortunately, Auto Elephant went into flowering in the heat of over 37 degrees in the middle of the third week. I will grow her again next year and hope for a more stable and milder climate during the vegetative stage. I suspect the very nitrogen-rich charcoal compost caused her some issues. It seems to be better suited for photoperiod strains than for autoflower genetics. I will need to adjust the compost next time. The buds are hanging to dry. I’ll check back soon with the results and in a few weeks with a vape report. This is my second Elephant lady, and I can already say: bomb! Super resinous, extremely tasty. A high like when you’re floating through the clouds sitting on an elephant, getting a glimpse of things that otherwise remained hidden. A high like back in the day the first time. ;-) 🍌😄 Thanks for stopping by. See you soon. 🐘🌱🌵🔥

Week 12. Harvest

Happy Harvest Day!

Comfrey Unfortunately, I had to dispose of the buds due to mold. There are small spots that are only visible with a magnifying glass. The majority looks clean, but the risk isn't worth it to me, so 32 grams end up in the bin. :-/

Too bad the weather threw a bit of a wrench in your plans, but at least a few nice buds came out of it. Have fun with them! 🍀🌿

@Kushycat, Thanks. I'll try it again. I really like the strain. Right now, they're hanging at 58% in the grow tent with ventilation. Nothing should go wrong now.
