this is my second grow ever and I'd like to share my experience to get some advices since i'm still a novice :) This time i'd like to try some LST and topping, hoping to get a better yeld than the first time.

At day 4 of germination i've putted them into pots and feed them with root stimulator.
At day 6 (day 2 of veg) my MH bulb has broken so i've had to temporarily replace it with an HPS bulb, while buying the replacement.
Plants looks pretty good to me except for a little overfeeding on one plant.

Not much to say about this week, the ladies are growing fast and pretty well.
Fed with 6L (1.5L each) of tap water @ph 6.0 last Sunday.
Fed with 6L water + root stimulator today.

Not much to say about this week, the babies have reached the 4th node so i guess next week it's time to top.
I'll follow the Nebula420 method so i'll cut at 3rd node when all the plants will have 6 nodes.

Last Monday I’ve cut the plants at 3rd node and used some plant wire to tie the colas to the edge of the pot but the day after I’ve realized that this was probably an unfortunate placement so I decided to change the wire setup and, while doing that, I've unfortunately broken a branch on one plant :(
yeah that’s sad but I’m paying the inexperience, since this my very first try with topping and LST… well, the important thing is to learn from our mistakes :)
Beside that the ladies are keep growing fast, they looks pretty good to me and there is no sign of under/overfeeding, they have reacted pretty well to the cut.
I watered each plant once with 1.5L water plus nutrients.

This week I've just kept doing the LST, and waited until the two main branches had 4 nodes in total.
I've topped them again at day 38: i've cutted away the fourth and the second node, leaving just node 1 and 3 on the main branches. Unfortunately i've lost the photos that I've made, so no pictures of that day.
I watered them once with 2L water plus nutrients.
I'm just keep going with LST, i removed all the plant wires 3 days ago and now I'm letting the branches goes up a little bit.
Since this is my very first time with LST, I'm realizing that perhaps I'm not doing it in the proper way: i noticed that the lateral branches have grown a little taller that the central ones so not all the apicals are at the same height now.
I watered them once with 3L water plus nutrients.
Since this is my first time with topping and LST, it would be nice to have some feedback/comment from other growers.
I'm wondering when i can switch to 12/12: I'd like to do this ASAP since the temperatures will raise a lot in summer (i expect 30°C in the end of june)
Barney’s Amnesia Lemon , will response well to topping and HST , so LST won’t be a problem. You will need around 8 to 9 weeks to harvest... so it’s probably time to switch now or ASAP like you said to avoid the summer heat !
This week I switched to 12/12 light schedule, plants have been stretching and they have almost doubled their size. There isn't any pre-flowering yet.
I've maintained the MH lamp for the first 7 days of flowering and today I've switched with an HPS.
I've watered them 2 times this week, one time with water+nutrients and one time with just water at PH5.9.
They are keep stretching and they have reached 80cm in height, many pistils are coming out!
I'm having bad times to keep the humidity low, the problem is that it's raining every day so the outside humidity has been always between 60-80%. Even with the air extractor at maximum speed, I didn't succeed to go under 60% inside the tent so today I've placed a dehumidifier in the room, just outside the growbox and hopefully this will dry the air a little bit. Let's see!

So another week is gone, plants are done with stretching and they have started to produce buds.
I'm still having problem with high humidity but managing to keep it under 70% so i guess it's fine, though not optimal.
I've had to change a little the water scheduling since not all the plants require the same amount of water on the same day so i'm watering each plant when needed with 3L water + nutes but from the next week i'll start giving more water per pot.
I've added some photos not under the HPS light, I still can't take picture with natural light but i hope to add some in the near future.
Today I've defoliated a bit the lower branches on the plants: I've removed the big fan leaves and the little growths at the second node of the mainline.

Another week is gone, the ladies are pretty fine to me and the buds are growing bigger day by day.
I've increased the water amount and changed the scheduling, according to plants needs and size, this week i've given just water @PH 5.9, about 4L per pot each 5 days (but i'm planning to give 5L next time, they seems to want it)
Summer is officially here and the temperature has raisen by 2 degrees inside the tent but this won't be an issue for now.
Pictures aren't good this week, unfortunately I didn't had enough time to take more or better ones

This week I think I've found the exact amount of water to pour that is 4.5L per pot. Starting from 3L I increased half a liter every watering session, the runoff on the saucer has always been absorbed within some hours until i poured 5L, in this case even 6 hours after watering the runoff hasn't been absorbed by the soil so i just removed it from the saucer and found my optimal amount.
Beside this, summer is going on and the temperatures are raising, now I have 26/27°C night/day but the plants don't seem to suffer for that, they still seems pretty healthy at my newbie eyes :)
Next week I'll provide some pictures with natural light, so you can see their true colors.

The plants are keep getting mature, and some dark pistils are visible on 2 of the plants, on the top colas; I hope they will be ready to harvest in the next 2/3 weeks.
This week I could provide some pictures with natural light, so the true colors are shown: there is a visible nutrient burn on the highest sugar leaves, but unfortunately I cannot determine what is the cause, due to my inexperience. Anyway this won't be anymore a concern i guess, since it's time to start to flush with just water.

Not much to say about this week, they are getting mature except for one of the plant that seems a bit slower than the others.
I've started flushing them with tap water @ pH 6.0.

Flowering week 9 is gone, I'm keeping flushing them with water @ ph 6 and I'm just waiting for the right time to harvest: I'm carefully inspecting the trichomes every day with an optical microscope but they are still transparent, so it's better to wait for some more days to harvest.

The effect is mostly cerebral, with positive effect like happiness and energy. I think it's perfect to be smoked during the day since you don't get phisically stunned.
Well, this adventure is finished. I'm pretty satisfied on what I've done, this is my best try so far. The growing was easy, the plants responded very well to topping and LST and have grown very fast and strong. I'll try them again for sure!

You are right mate but the thing is almost impossible for me: one out of 4 plant was really at the end: their fan leaves were all dry and dying. Furthermore, as you pointed out, the temp now is way too high but even with this there isn't much to do since I'm not able to install an A/C in the tent's room. Summer heat is very strong down here, I should have considered this and I should have anticipated the flowering some weeks before to avoid it.
I know very well that I was supposed to wait a lot more, but unfortunately this didn't happen and I harvested the plants at the end of flowering week 10. The conditions were too bad and the plants were suffering so I've decided to get it over with this cycle. I'll make it up better next time with the winter cold, that is for surely more manageable :)
