About 4 weeks from seed. Started LST a week ago, plant really responding well. Really getting bushy too! Happy with the last week but I think she has a bit of nute burn. Not a huge deal at all
Things are looking good but plant has expirianced some nute burn and suffered a bit from ph fluctuation. Nonetheless some valuable things learned so far. Should be another week or two before flowering begins. I have come to the conclusion that this phenotype is a stout and short plant. Let me know what you think!
II flushed some of the nutrients out with a heavy water and the plant bounced back from nute burn and nitrogen toxicity. I also had this huge rust spot that I think was from magnesium toxicity. I'm a new grower and not expecting insane yields but good quality bud. LST continues as well. Seems like I may have messed up the ph just because yellow discoloration on new leaves but I have been careful enough. Maybe I need to recalibrate or something. Anyways thanks for popping by!
I am really starting to see some serious progress going into flowering but she is a slow growing auto overall. She has recovered from nitrogen and magnesium toxicity. I am going to put to scrog on next week.
I'm happy with how this girl is stretching out going into flower. Looks like she will have one huge cola. I used the scrog for a bit but I am already pretty well out of room and have decided to just to let the plant grow. Looks almost like I have buds now that I'm nearing the end of week 8. I can tell I am not going to get as much bud off this plant as my Northern Lights but I mean I could get more than an ounce easy.
So we are hitting day 60 this week and the plant is still about a month from harvest. This girl is suppose to flower in 70-80 days so she needs time. This plant is none the less really catching up up to my Northern lights. Looks very healthy and happy and I think she is on the right track. I had 4 plants in my tent but I ended up planting my Bubba Kush photoperiod outside. That journal will follow shortly! Thanks for popping in!
Some leaves have been looking unhealthy and there are a few issues right now. It kinda looks like nute burn so I did a flush to get rid of excess. I trimmed to lower canopy and she responded well. This will help her put effort into bud production. Damaged leaves aside she is looking good.
Responded well to defoliation and really putting some weight on and that one main cola, ma gosh.
So these buds are starting to frost up and put on a bit of weight. Has a really nice fruity smell and buds are sticky as hell. Not bad for a free seed, really pleased with progress. I also started doing the flush early and she is still going strong using up nutrients stored in soil. Smells like a sativa for sure. Colas really frosty and starting to bulk up. Thanks for checking out the grow!
Things are looking good and the buds are putting on weight. Orange hairs are appearing everywhere too. End is near but she definitely needs some time. There are a few underdeveloped buds throughout lower canopy. Not adding nutrients has done this girl alot of good. the two largest colas look pretty insane! Just pretty well waiting for leaves to start to fade. Love the fruity citrus smell of buds. Thanks for checking out the grow!
Alright so this girl has really bulked up and she looks very happy. I could push her for another couple weeks easy but have decided to harvest next week because she has been covered in orange hairs for some time. (3weeks) Really is a great growing strain but requires some patience and was somewhat slow growing but she is a sativa afterall. Best looking buds out of all my plants! Maybe I should wait longer till colors fade to harvest but I will be turning off light for 48 hours. Excited to see results I just hope I'm not harvesting too early but I pushed her a bit just incase. Thanks for checking the grow out.
So this is a wonderful smelling sativa and I find it great day time smoke. Uplifting high that is good for getting things done. Reminds me of the Sour Diesel strain with a pungent smell and uplifting high. I don't find this cannabis to be as heavy hitting as I hoped but the taste is great. Wicked looking buds and I'm waiting before curing is complete to start smoking this stuff regularly. I liked the pheno of this girl, short and stout. I was worried when I seen the plant could get up to 120 cm but I think it's probably going to grow shorter, mine was less than 2 ft. I chopped her about day 94. Be patient with this strain and it will grow great.
So this has been a really exciting first grow for me. The yields were around what I thought they would be and I'm happy with the outcome. Some real issues with adding calmag to this girl and she showed some issues with purple stems and nutrient deficiencies. My recommendation is no added nutrients just make sure your soil contains a healthy blend of organic nutrients. She also experienced a nitrogen toxicity. Some of these things probably hindered end results. None the less the main colas are really dense and nice looking. There were some fluffy buds from lower canopy and the quality of these buds isn't great TBH. Might make some hash from these buds but I mean they are definitely still smokable.
I wouldn't grow this strain again just because it's kind of a novelty strain, great to share with friends. Great strain for first time growers and it's not like I'm really disappointed with this grow. Lots of great bud from a free seed! Thanks to all for checking out my grow and for all the great feedback!
looking real good. I wouldn't flush yet though, make sure to check those trichomes. Sativas usually flower for a good 10-12 weeks before they are ripe. You are only in week 5 of flower, that's only halfway there my man. Keep on feeding her!
@@noobiegrows, appreciate the feedback dude, some things for me to think about. Honestly I'm a little hesitant to add nutrients again, kinda fucked shit up every time I add calmag. Anyways thanks for the info!
All looking good. I as you know I am very conservative on nutrients and think less is better. But Cal Mag seems to be okay until 2 weeks before harvest. Keep going all will be good can't wait to see the harvest.👍
looking good. I'm harvesting this weekend surprisingly. Took a look at the trichomes with my jewelers loupe and there is a good 10 percent amber. Thought I had a few more weeks but these canuk seeds really develop fast.
