Don't have many pics of the veg phase but she no doubt is a vigorous grower. Definitely drinks lots of water and releases a lot at night -- best have a dehumidifier in the tent -- and training will be frequent in her speedy growth, but abstaining from the negative she is for sure a thick and sturdy genetic. Had no probs with trellis netting or some low stress training, though I didn't train much when they were young so got to factor that. I supplemented nutrients from varying sources, but the main brands were Athena and in flower a mix of Athena and Cronk Nutrients -- switching out every couple weeks and towards the end sticking with Cronk mostly for extra micro nutrients, nutrient variety, and because I could tell the plants definitely responded better to it. After giving each plant 1/2-3/4 of a gallon of water every other day for almost 8 weeks I could tell she was pretty much done. I let them go for another week cause another strain in the tent hadn't finished -- which explains the amount of amber trichomes in the photographs -- but she thrived anyway while guaranteeing all the trichomes were foggy and filled with terpy potent goodness. Out of the 6 I had, a few phenos had relatively average to low yeilds -- which is starting to become more common I've noticed with many rare fruity/sweet terpy strains coming out -- but a couple had decently impressive yields and could be commercially viable if you got a good cut (which I'm sure won't be hard to find). She undoubtedly will stretch a lot so make sure you leave plenty of room in-between. I lightly burned a pheno due to it being too close and not easing up on the light power toward the end of flower. And finally, the best for last, the terp profiles. To sum it up all 6 plants had a mixture of these outstanding phenos. #2 has a extremely sweet gas terp. First thing that comes to mind is chocolate muffins, slightly fruity jelly/jam and vanilla terp. Almost maybe even a little of a sweet coffee terp (in a good way). Definitely very unique in comparison to other stuff I've ever smelled, cannabis or food wise. Pheno #6 was similar to #2 but leaned more on the stinky gas terp (also in a good way). Much less sweetness and more of the coffee, earthy kind of profile with some slight fruity notes. Not a big fan of coffee but if you are this strain is definitely a really good option, and even so I definitely still did enjoy it very much, just not as much as the others. If #6 was 3rd place and pheno #2 was in 2nd place, then the top placement would have to be awarded to pheno #4. Her candy profile is what every candy company dreams of creating. Super inartificial, deep, and complex terps -- almost only comparable to fruity jelly/jam oddly enough. Allow for plenty nutrient complexity and variety and her terps are out of this world. Trichome density is there undoubtedly along side stunning purple colors and visual appeal. Many of the top colas looked white rather than purple because of how many trichomes there were. She might even start developing trichomes as early as week 2 and most likely will be an early finisher so that's where you compromise some of the yield, but some phenos like pheno #3 still can stack fat nugs. Overall, Jelly Donutz is a unique, yet relatively consistent genetic that that can possibly yield pretty well and unquestionably has a unique terp profile to chase after, pheno hunt, and breed -- hints to why they used it in chicken & waffles. If sweet gas and complex candy jelly/jam terps are your go to then this strain is a no brainer. If you enjoy a chill mellow high without the headrush of some high sativas or the sluggishness of some deep indicas like gmo, this is a perfect option not only for experienced users, but beginners alike. Can't be mad at anything from Humboldt Seed Company.
