HoneyBlunt42 I soaked 3 Strawberry Pie Auto seeds from FastBuds in 40ml of RO water with 10 drops of hydrogen peroxide. Seeds were received as part of the FastBuds grow report contest. Hydrogen peroxide helps prevent pathogenic microorganisms and stimulates germination.
Day 1 - First Taproots: All three seeds showed first taproots about 1mm long. Excellent germination rate - 100%!
Day 2 - Transplanting to Cups: Taproots grew to 4-5mm, time for transplanting. Planted seeds in 0.2L cups with soil mix and rooting hormone to stimulate root development.
Substrate: Light soil mix with perlite (3L per 20L substrate) for drainage Watering: Lightly misted the surface with spray bottle
Placement: Left on balcony (day temperature +30°C, night +20°C)
GERMINATION CONDITIONS
Temperature schedule: Day +30°C, Night +20°C
Method features: No plastic cover or additional protection, natural lighting on balcony shaded with soil bag until they shed their seed shells. Two previous runs showed excellent results with this approach.
Differences from previous methods: Usually used plastic cover in growbox with humidifier, but the balcony method proved more effective. They shoot into growth better.
INTERMEDIATE RESULTS
Germination rate: 100% (3 out of 3 seeds)
Germination speed: Within normal range
Seedling condition: Healthy, actively developing
Seeds are confidently growing - excellent project start! Especially exciting to work with a new strain for me as part of the FastBuds contest.
FUTURE PLANS
After the first true leaves appear and root system strengthens, I plan to transplant into final 5-liter pots and move to growbox with humidifier and LED 120W. A micro-drip irrigation system with nylon cord will be installed for even substrate moisture.
Next stage: Expecting sprouts within 2-3 days, then active vegetative phase begins - Week 1. Particularly interesting to observe this strain's development, considering its reputation as an "indica monster" with unique coloration.

🔥 Day 8 — Critical Moment
A serious mistake occurred in care: I accidentally left the plants in bright sunlight while cleaning the box. The result was catastrophic — 1 out of 3 plants died, the others experienced severe light stress.
Consequences of sun stress:

I immediately decided to radically change the growing conditions:
Transplanting to larger containers:
Volume: transferring from 0.2L to 5L

HoneyBlunt42 The second week turned out to be a real emotional rollercoaster. One of the seedlings is developing just wonderfully — it has already reached a height of 4-5 cm and delights the eye with its first set of true leaves. The little one feels right at home in the box, especially with the humidifier constantly running.
Unfortunately, there were some losses.

The second seedling died due to a critical mistake at the very beginning — I left them on the windowsill and just forgot about them. This is especially painful considering that the report is being prepared for a competition. Meanwhile, everything is going great in the neighboring projects, but here I have to work with just one surviving fighter.
Currently, the conditions are stabilized: the temperature is kept within optimal ranges (28°C during the day, 22°C at night), and humidity is maintained at 65%. There’s no smell yet, which is normal for this stage of development. Watering is minimal — just 100 ml per day, to avoid overwatering the still weak root system.

The plant is actively flowering, forming dense buds up to 10 mm in diameter. When attempting to bend the central cola with a rubber band, an accidental break occurred. However, thanks to a quick reaction (the rubber bands were immediately removed), the plant successfully recovered – the break node strengthened, and the stress was minimal.
Autowatering and Adaptation
After the incident, I continued using the autowatering system (Xplants pump every 8 hours for 15 seconds) with the addition of Simplex Terra Bloom. The light schedule of 12/12 under the LED 240W BigCock Design Rooster was not disrupted, which helped avoid additional stress.
General Observations
The smell is moderate but stable. The temperature and humidity are under control. The plant demonstrates high resilience – despite the mechanical damage, it continues to develop without visible deviations.

HoneyBlunt42 Flowering stage: The plant has successfully entered the active flowering phase and is starting to form beautiful buds with a diameter of 10-15 mm. Overall appearance - green and healthy, which is very pleasing.
Pest prevention: There was a mite infestation in this box, so I conduct thorough regular inspections of the plant. So far, I haven't found any signs of infestation on this plant.
Watering regime: The current watering is 0.2-0.3 liters of solution per day for a 5-liter pot. I'm considering increasing the watering volume, given the active growth stage of the plant.

HoneyBlunt42 🚨 Critical period - 20 days of absence
There was a 20-day gap in the report due to a forced trip and preparation for it. I had never left the plants unattended for more than 10 days, so this was a real stress test for the crop.
💧 Preparation for departure
Before leaving, I thoroughly watered the plant with 2.5 liters of nutrient solution. The plan was as follows:
The first 5 days the plant actively consumed moisture from the container.
The next 5-7 days it underwent natural drying before harvest.
🏆 Experiment results
Strawberry Pie Auto (FastBuds) showed incredible resilience - without auto-watering:
✅ Survived unattended for 20 days
✅ Significantly gained mass during my absence
✅ Maintained a healthy appearance and structure
Other plants (seed bank IZI 3 pcs) did not make it, even though they were on auto-watering:
❌ All 3 plants died and dried out
❌ Even auto-watering didn't help them survive
My choice for the future is clear.

The plant was weighed in its wet state (PHOTO 3). A division factor of 5 is used to calculate the dry weight.
