Kushycat The small ones have moved into larger pots. The last few days it was brutally hot here and one of the little ones fell over before the move due to dryness.😱 Luckily I discovered it in time and was able to act immediately.💪 The heat has stressed them a bit but I think they will recover in the next few days.😘

Kushycat Tough weeks for the little ones. Had some root rot and did a transplant a few days ago. Looks like they are getting better. Only little Ice is dwarfing but of course I will let her live. After all, it's still a few weeks until they go into flower and I have a heart for damaged creatures as I am one myself :P I will probably top the Sundae and Gelato 44 in the next few days and remove the damaged leaves. 17.07.2025 Soooo have trimmed the girls on top and they have caught well in the last few days! They are getting a healthy green color again and in the next few days there will be new pictures etc

Kushycat Not much has happened apart from the fact that they have recovered well and the little ICE mouse is now starting to grow after all the stress and teething troubles. The flowering plant is a lime plant and it smells wonderful. Yesterday evening I sprayed all the plants with CannaCure (the quantity given is not correct as it is not diluted with water but the site always complains if it is not given ) and put some farmyard manure (beef/chicken/sheep manure) on top of the soil. Despite the large pots, I am now watering less to prevent root rot. 23.07.2025 Difficult year/gardening year... Unfortunately, I had a rude awakening during my daily check today. I didn't water yesterday because it rained the whole time. The plant is in a small tent and was probably too dry. As you can see, two leaves are burnt. I watered it thoroughly and hope it will recover. I'm looking forward to my first indoor experience in the fall when I get a tent with controlled conditions. 25.07.2025 Quick update: The miscanthus mulch retained more moisture in the soil than I would have liked, which seems to have caused root problems again. I haven't watered for the last two days and have removed the mulch. This seems to be having an effect and I can see a slow recovery. Tomorrow I will change the location and then it should soon start to flower.

Kushycat The weather is still terrible, with lots of rain and temperatures around 20 degrees. Fortunately, they are in the tomato tent and have recovered somewhat from root rot, pests, etc. 03.08.2025 Brown leaves on the Sundae again overnight... no idea why. I suspect a magnifying glass effect caused by rain on the plastic roof of the tomato greenhouse. DAMN OUTDOOR POOP! I didn't take a picture of it. I'm feeling unmotivated right now...

Kushycat I took them out of the tomato tent and put them outside. I have the feeling they have been suffering from severe heat stress over the last few days or something. Brown spots have been appearing repeatedly and the leaves don't look healthy either. I watered them sufficiently today and hope they will recover over the next few days. Hopefully they are not dying, but they have had a lot of setbacks and stress since the beginning. I have never had as many problems as I have had this summer........ The little ICE had also suffered a bit again and was definitely too wet. I transplanted it into an RQS textile pot and removed some of the lower shoots and diseased leaves. I also defoliated the big sisters a bit and removed damaged shoots.

Kushycat The total ups and downs of this grow... just like my mental state at the moment... 💩 I'm very unhappy with how things are going, but it's all my own fault. Lots of beginner's mistakes... once again, I meant well with the watering. I dug a few centimeters into the soil on the sides of the pots and found that it was too wet. 💧 No waterlogging, but still too wet, which is also evident above the soil, as you can see. Added to that is the heat stress from the time in the tomato tent, etc. I removed some leaves and lower shoots. They both got some BioBizz worm humus and were sprayed with silicate and amino in the evening. 👽 At least there are no new brown spots on the leaves and I hope they recover even better so that there will be at least a few flowers.🍀 The little ICE that was almost dying, on the other hand, has recovered well after being moved to the fabric pot (never again plastic....).

Kushycat Dumdidumdi, there's always something new. Silicates seem to have helped a little, but now the leaves look strange and are turning purple, at least on one of the two problem plants. I can't measure the pH or EC value because I don't have the equipment yet, and it can't really be a deficiency anymore. To be honest, I have other things to worry about at the moment and am just going to see what happens. I don't expect much anymore, as they have been so sickly the whole time and have had so many setbacks. Maybe they'll still be good for baking or something, we'll see. I gave them some algae lime and sprayed some Canna Cure. The ICE is doing quite well, though, even if it is a bit small. The first small threads are visible on all the plants and I'm declaring week 1 flowering. Today, I added nematodes to the watering can so that no more pesky guests will appear until harvest time.

@GhostTerpZ, Thanks but well, after the shock of the root rot they have recovered quite well I think. We'll see what happens. It doesn't seem to be/will be my year as far as growing and almost everything else is concerned.

Let her dry out. You are just like me 😅helicopter mom. A little just isn't enough. Overwatering caused the lockout in my entire tent grow.

@Natrona, we care deeply about the little babies! Yes, they haven't been watered for three days now and were sprayed with silicate yesterday evening. I checked on them today and they already look a little bit better. Don't give up!
