aus_grower This all starts with two seeds. Randomly found in two separate batches of medicinal cannabis. Fingers crossed, lady luck gives me a female. I call them 'her' and 'she' hoping the universe rewards!
- Cali K broke her seed on Day 7 and was then moved to 2L pot with premium mix and dynamic lifter.
- Immediately put her onto 18/6 light rotation.
- She took her time and a few more days later she showed herself.
- Her shell fell off, but left a membrane little helmet.
- 24 hrs she couldn't shake it so I misted her, and then carefully removed it (slitting the side and it flipped open).
- So today was her first full day open.
- Her first true leaver are coming, little serrated edges visible
- Banana K is still waking up in her paper towel moist bed.
- She spends an hour in the morning and evening underneath the oil heater (Winter here) to give her some warmth. Then sits under a book on the window sill maintaining that warmth.

aus_grower A bit of rain the last two weeks so been inside more than I'd like. Still getting min 5 hours sunlight daily. When temps warm up a bit in the next few weeks it'll be ideal for pre-flowering. Grabbed a 20w white 4000k LED to support the little aquarium light for when its inside. Seems to like the new foil collar I made for the pot. Need to source a 6L or 8L permanent home this week.

aus_grower Entered full LST mode this week. I relocated her to a proper 5L pot with a premium mix with Perlite, Coir, Sphagnum Peat. She sems to enjoy the change and didn't miss a heart beat after the transplant. I have decided to get artsy with her LST and I will direct her around the edge of the pot, main stem slightly offset from the rim, and then direct light into the main nodes and direct the new growth outwards, in a kind of spiral. Let's see...I might get bored and give up! Hope not, she's responded really well to LST and is already directing her nodes outwards and upwards. Also created a neat little lever to apply slow pressure to for the LST...its working well and makes fine tuning very easy....using plumbing tape which is a self adhesive.
