FeebleSnane My first grow was with autoflowers, and I had a pretty bad experience. I tracked some of it in a diary on here, but ultimately gave up on one of the plants, and the other plant yielded 5 grams total. This will be my 4th grow, and since I had a few autoflower seeds laying around I decided to try them out again.
I didn't bother with germinating them in paper towels or anything, and just planted the seeds straight in the soil. Two of them turned out fine, but plant #2 couldn't get the seed shell off, and the seedling grew very long and straggly. I pulled the seed shell off with some tweezers, and tried planting the seedling deeper into the soil. The seedling definitely looks a little fucked up, but I think it will recover. I'm just hoping it doesn't get too pissed, because that's what autoflowers do for me.
All 3 plants are in 5 gallon pots, which I may come to regret since this tent is only 5 feet tall, and they're on self-watering bases. I'll probably have to train the plants pretty hard to keep them under control, unless they start to flower in the first few weeks.
