On some days, temperatures climbed to nearly 40 degrees – a record that is a test for both people and plants. Nevertheless, the plant has clearly demonstrated its resilience. Early in the week, it was evident that the Gorilla Zkittlez Auto was growing diligently. The first strong serrated leaf pairs are well-formed, and the typical “stretching” towards the light is in full swing. Despite the high temperatures, the leaves remained healthy and lush green; there were no signs of heat stress, such as curling or burn marks. Only on the hottest days could you observe that the leaves were slightly “hanging” during midday, but they perked up quickly after watering. It was particularly important during the heatwave to water early in the morning and late in the evening to minimize evaporation. I also made sure to provide some shade for the plant during the strongest sunlight hours. These measures paid off: the Gorilla Zkittlez Auto has remained steadfast and has not suffered any lasting damage. The root development also seems to be going very well, as the plant stands visibly stable and strong in the substrate. Overall, the Gorilla Zkittlez Auto (Fast Buds) is showing itself to be very vital, robust, and adaptable – despite the extreme conditions.
