NoHarry The first days. Experiences from the "Mary Jane" Cannafest

NoHarry The week wasn't very sunny, even cool.

NoHarry The weather unfortunately hasn't improved, and now we've also been hit by pests. Life isn't easy for my little plant, but we're keeping our fingers crossed! This grow is another step in the search for an easy-care, stress-resistant autoflower cannabis strain for my balcony, which is exposed to strong winds and changing light. May nature help us!

NoHarry It's been another cold and completely sunless week. The plant is developing normally, though. It eats and drinks very little; I've only watered it once all week. Let's see what comes of it.

NoHarry The girl started to bloom on day 34 of her life, and on the same day, summer returned! I didn't take any photos all week, so the plant in the picture is already in bloom, even though I'm marking the week as a growth phase. I ran out of growth nutrients, so I had to fertilize with 1 ml/L Canna Aqua Vega A. Next, I will switch to Hesi Bloom. So far, everything is going wonderfully!

NoHarry This is already the second plant on this balcony that has given me hermaphroditic flowers, which is very disappointing. But overall, the girl is developing normally. Well, we'll keep raising her.

NoHarry The sun is shining again, and the plant has shot up nicely in the last week. I regret a bit that I didn't use any training techniques, but I really wanted to see what a proper "Christmas tree" looks like. I'm mixing the nutrient solution again based on the principle of "using what I have," but it seems to like it.

NoHarry Neither the strong wind, nor the constant cold-hot fluctuations, and even the pests could really do anything to this little one. It has become quite an interesting little tree. Unfortunately, now comes the most boring part: waiting and constantly adding water.

NoHarry I never thought that growing on the balcony would be such a drama. Caterpillars came to visit, the wind threw a chair onto the plant (now it's a bit crooked), and there's nothing you can do about the weather in our area anyway. But we are growing and evolving! I really like the strain, but I should have trained it anyway.

NoHarry Ripening is really a test of patience. You sit there watching the wind mess up your grass and the caterpillars come for dinner. You sit there and watch as nothing changes, but the sweet, intrusive smell does its job. And then suddenly you’re running out to the balcony with scissors, cutting off a few buds to try. I really liked the first test. The taste is hard to judge, but the effect is solid. Based on the state of the trichomes, it still has about 2 weeks until full ripeness, but I plan to harvest in a week. 😘

NoHarry Well, we continue to wait for the trichomes to mature. I'm now starting the flush with pure water. If the weather allowed, I would let them flower for about 55-60 days. But I will probably harvest around the 50th day. I wonder what comes next. The balcony season will end, and in the grow tent, one plant has entered the flowering stage. Is such a report even interesting when all the work is already done?

NoHarry So, that’s it then: Harvest day has come. The low weight (20 g of dry buds) and the loose structure are obviously not the strain's fault; the little one just had terrible conditions. Still, I really like the result. It's some fun stuff that lifts the mood. Thank you all – the balcony season is closed, I'm moving into my tent!
