Four seeds taken out of refrigerator storage (37 deg. F) after four days. Germinated in wet paper towels (filtered water, not RO). Three seeds presented radicule within 36 hours. Four seeds placed into Root Riot cubes under a germination dome. At 72 hours all four seeds had broken the surface presenting cotyledons although some were still restrained by the testa. Seedlings under two 40-watt fluorescents for 20 hours (0400-0000hrs) and natural, indirect sunlight.

GERM+10/VEG-0: I lost 2 seedlings due to overwatering (went out of town, not able to monitor). Plant ALPHA suffered from overwatering, and stem sagged; planted up to cotyledons in 5g fabric pot, gingerly adjusted stem. Plant BRAVO is strong; planted 1/2" from cotyledons in 5g fabric pot. Used HydroGro/Micro/Flora light veg formula at 2/3 strength. Leaving drainage in basin since I'm out if town a few days. Breed seems very strong and resilient. Hoping ALPHA will recover fully and both will thrive.

I think pH is off. One plant is much smaller. Could be phenotypical differences? Both seem ealthy and productive, yet one is stunted.

Looking good. Both plants are healthy, but A is smaller. Adjusted pH down. I reused soil from a previous grow (don't judge), and I thought there might be nutrient deficiency do to nute lockout. A is bigger this week, but not in a position to catch up it seems.

2019.01-A continues to lag in size. Same nutes, but lowered pH. 2019.01-B is doing very well. Trimmed lower fan leaves from B to give lower branches more light. Beautiful aroma starting to fill the tent.

What a treat it is to go to my grow tent! The plants are beautiful and magnificently aromatic. Plat ALPHA was the strongest of four seedlings. BRAVO was in rough shape due to overwatered root starters (and going out of town). C & D died from the maltreatment. I expected ALPHA to be the biggest because it started off better; however, it is a teeny, tiny, itty, bitty micro-plant. I'm going to hold onto this one and force it into producing pollen (via rodelization). If I can reproduce the small stature I'd have a Super SoG Seed! It'll be fun to see what comes of it. Plant BRAVO continues to amaze me. She nearly died. I'm beside myself that I was able to save her. She not only survived but has thrived! I did all of my LST work and some pruning over the past week or so. She is as resilient as she is beautiful. I've tried keeping the canopy even, but there are some interior side shoots that are a bit behind on growth. I think they won't catch up, but they'll be close. I just have to keep my hands off now and let her grow. I've been giving heavy water and nutrients every other day or two, but I might cut the nutrients/water to a quart each day. ALPHA probably doesn't need that much, but BRAVO keeps growing!

I am thrilled with the genetics. Both in what I expected and didn't expect. The plants have a great aroma, and the bud sites are starting to fill out. I count about 16 good bud sites. I'm done with the LST, but still will trim fan leaves as needed.

End of the week. Ahh. All is well. Seems like she's thirstier. She has beautiful color, scent, and texture, and she's covered in trichomes. Seeing a bit of a color shift to orange at the tip of a bud site. Getting into the final stretch. Going to begin flushing mid-week. Absolutely love the ease of the Blue Dream'Matic. She's been very hearty from the start. I've trimmed and tucked throughout the grow, and she's taken it in stride.

While tidying up the undercarriage I "oopsed" and broke a branch off. Feeling like such a newb. I did take some of the cuttings and put them in rooting cubes. They're surviving, and I might get a scant gram off them when dried. If that. I've not seen growth from the cuttings, but they're stable; no wilting of the leaves. They appear strong. Must be strong genes.

Holy f*** balls! Can I use that phrase here? Cuz if I could I'd say it. Holy. F***. Balls. Holyf***balls! This has been a week of rewards. I was treated to explosive growth in the buds and a magnificent aroma. I've eased up on the nutrients a bit, but I continue to water every day. The smell is nothing less than amazing. The larger of the two stopped all vertical growth many days ago, but it seems like the nuds more than doubled in size. I saw many, many new trichomes come in, yet many of the buds are ripening quickly. They have a density and weight about them I find very exciting! Some are getting so milky that I got a hankering for breakfast cereal. Yes, I wrote "hankering." The little one is fascinating. It enjoyed bud growth, but it did not match the scale of her larger sister. I am definitely thinking of preserving these genes for micro-sized grows. SoG them on a big scale. At any rate, I am having a blast with my grow. I hope the rest of you enjoy your grows as much as I do mine! Cheers, MSB690916 a.k.a: Maj. Bud Green, USAF (ret.) A

Week 11. Harvest

Happy Harvest Day!

This was better than I expected. The plants are hardy, and the stock is strong. Responded very well to LST, and very forgiving of mistakes. My first auto-flower experience is a good one! The plant is good about showing what's wrong and what's right. I had my nutrients a little hot at one point, and she showed it in her leaves. She recovered quickly. I was excited when she started to bud, and I was blown away by the robust growth in the last week. She was producing new calyxes, but I had trichomes turning amber. I decided to take her at that time to avoid getting too much amber in the trichomes. I'm not after couch-lock. She looks good, smells great, and I am very satisfied with the results.

The plants started out with the odds stacked against them. I had to leave for a family emergency right after they germinated, and I ended up killing off two of the four seedlings. One was in horrible shape. Despite being waterlogged, it recovered. Not only did it recover, it yielded 429g wet, untrimmed bud at harvest. The grow was fantastic. I had one period where I was concerned about overwatering, but it wasn't so bad. I used liquid nutrients throughout the grow. I put the HydroGro Flora, Micro, and Bloom in RO water with Botanicare Cal-Mag Plus. Feedings were every other day. Started nutrients at quarter strength and moved up to full strength every other day. I did LST for several weeks, cleaning up the stem as it grew. The plant took the LST and the pruning very well. Stayed under 20/4 light cycle the entire grow. Under a Big to 1500W LED. It ain't fancy but it worked. Tent was ventilated with a 6" fan and carbon filter. Had a tower fan on 24/7. 420 Fast Buds hit it outta the park with their Blue Dream'Matic. I look forward to growing this strain again.

I'm also doing one of these and mine is very very small too. I wondered if I'd stressed her too much in the beginning because I wasnt sure wether to grow indoor or out. Looking at yours maybe it's just one of them unlucky things that happen. Following to see the outcome of the tiny one 😉💚

@AngryBird, I thought my little one was going to be my big producer because I heavily stressed out her sisters (read as drowned two and nearly killed another). Of the two that survived my original four, the little one was strongest. My guess is that some of the plants have tiny stature due to the ruderalis expressing its genetics. I'm going to Rodelize it to see if the next-gen seeds have similar sizing. I want to preserve the genes for micro-grows. I can envision a SoG inside a cabinet grow one day.
