Super Fried Applez ‍♂️🍗🍎

KurtThePlantGuru Got accepted to become a tester for Homegrown Genetics, and I picked out 3 packs (Super Fried Applez, Garlic Applez, and Apple Junky) all which looked INSANE. Truly an underrated breeder I started this 1 week and a few days ago: approximately on 6/26/25. Been doing very good for this first week, super green super healthy super happy! Started it on the side of my main grow right now so when the other is done this will be ready!

KurtThePlantGuru Nearing time for a transplant just trying to get the previous set of plants finished and out of the tent! Growth has been incredibly vigorous, cannot wait to see how well she preforms in mid-veg boom! First time growing Homegrown Genetics, as well as a Superboof cross! Gonna get sum legendary Terps, I can just feel it.

KurtThePlantGuru Little behind on this one because I haven't been able to transplant her due to no space in the tent, was expecting Grease Monkey to finish up quicker. But she's coming down this week, and I will be transplanting into her next pot, growth has been incredibly vigorous, healthy beautiful green, just topped for first time in the starter pot (to delay and buy myself some time) and so far so good super happy with how it's going.

KurtThePlantGuru Absolutely taking off 2 weeks after transplant, very healthy vibrant growth. Absolute stunner bounces back after each topping within 24 hours. It's already starting to smell like dank and it's still in veg. Impressive genetics I absolutely cannot wait to flower this bad gal

KurtThePlantGuru Explosive growth compared to last week. I topped again, which might be the last time before I allow for some more growth before flipping. Super Impressed, this would be much bigger if I did not delay transplanting for a week and a half, because I had my grow space full! I just started 2 others, unfortunately bad timing as this one's almost to flower, so either I will stretch the veg out for much longer so all plants can flower at same time, or work out other arrangements. So far I'm beyond impressed with Homegrown Genetics and cannot wait to see these beauties flower 😁

KurtThePlantGuru Once again doing beautiful just topped again for what will be her last time being topped before I flip to flower, you may notice some smaller plants I have in the mix which is Apple Junky (Cap Junky x Fried Applez) from Homegrown as well, will be starting a diary on that here today as well! Wish I took a pic before the topping bc it was done really nice growth. It's grown 4-5 nodes in the past week, vigorous growth, very healthy green leaves, and it's already smelling dank in the grow room! Look forward to seeing how the others run, and how this one flowers!

KurtThePlantGuru Topped for last time 2-3 days ago, already bouncing back and crazy vigorous growth. Noticing a little bit of yellowing on the edges of the leaves my best guess is some nitrogen deficiency which will be corrected ! Going a bit longer then I had hoped, it's really about week 5-6 but I left it in starter pots for a week or 2 too long while I harvested the others in the grow! All in all we're on a good track to some beautiful chunky buds super excited to see how this plant expresses itself! Genetics are (Superboof x Fried Applez (Pure Michigan x Apple Fritter) bred by Homegrown Genetics. - From what I've seen from other people's grows and his, this is some incredible stable genetics. We're on track to a qp+ harvest. **CHECK OUT MY OTHER GROWS!** - I am running Apple Junky (Cap Junky x Fried Applez) from Homegrown Genetics, aswell as Sour Grape Diesel (Grape Gas x Sour Diesel (Weasel's Cut) from James Loud!

KurtThePlantGuru Absolutely blasting off, topped for last time this previous Friday, everything is bouncing back perfect growth has exploded. Still having a slight yellowing on the edges that can't seem to address, I fed every nutrients needed + calmag, pH is 6.7 on runoff, I feed Everytime with 6.4-6.5 pH, it has only received light feedings of Lotus nutrients and I have amended the soil with GaiaGreen 4-4-4 again, so I am hoping that fixes whatever issue is going on. But the smell is REMARKABLE, not even flowering yet but the stems REEK. A strong funky skunk smell from the stem rub. Going to tie down some more branches this week, and keep an eye on the leaves might introduce a superthrive foliar to get these things doing okay, I don't believe it's nutrient deficiency, but it could be nutrient lockout, not due to pH but maybe salt buildup? I tried flushing the soil one time but maybe it wasn't enough? Will keep everyone updated! Also yes I am aware 9 weeks is incredibly long for the progress it's showing but I left it in starter pot for 3-4 weeks, so it is about 6 weeks old progress wise, I intentionally slowed it down until I had room in the tent!

KurtThePlantGuru On the last week of veg, since the other 2 babies in the tent are bouncing back. Super excited to flip, also I addressed the ongoing magnesium issue from the last few weeks as you can see it's all new healthy growth (give or take a little tip burn) but ay "if ya tips aren't burning, you not growing!" Hahhaa. Getting super stacked up, defoliated a little finger some light to inner canopy as well as lollipopped it a bit! Left about 3-5 nodes of nugs per branch. Should be about 6-7 nodes of nugs when I flip over to flower.

KurtThePlantGuru Going to add more pics when the light turns back on, don't wanna stress her out and risk herm'ing with light leaks (if that's even true better not to risk it). She's stretching like CRAZY nice internodal spacing I prefer them a bit more spaced out, not too far apart but I think it makes room for chunkers. But not too close together, so much so to risk mold, butrot, or mold issues. This is the perfect medium. Absolutely cannot wait to see how the buds look. Everything appears to be Female in thee grow aswell super happy about that.

KurtThePlantGuru She is stretching like crazy I've had to move it away from the light 3 times now, 3 days in a row, I move it and its right back at the light next day! Insanely beautiful green healthy growth. I'm so happy with this grow. When the stretch stops I'm gonna give it a nice defoliation to get sum light to lower bud sites. But I am so happy with how this grow is going even if it took a little longer.

KurtThePlantGuru Week 3 - Day 2: Id say she's about done stretching I'll see in the next few days, I can tell the plant is diverting more energy to creating bud sites. I absolutely cannot wait these buds are gonna be sum chunkers. Very tight internodal spacing which I like I am not too worried about budrot, since I can keep humidity fairly low and plenty of air flow. My only issue is it's getting so big that my light isn't touching to the bottom of the canopy haha. I defoliated pretty heavily (no more than 30% on day 1 of week 3) I am thinking of letting it bounce back then I'm going to do one more strip of the bottom leaves and bud sites. I noticed I missed a few. But I'm gonna strip the bottom 1/3 bc no way my light will reach there. So far very happy!
