MrLahey Started this one a while ago. Went with BuildaSoil 3.0 with some dry amendments and compost as well as red wigglers, clover cover crop and straw for cover too. Water only, around .5g per 2-3 days at the moment.
I have some type of weird issue that I can’t figure out. I suspect it’s a watering issue as I’ve always been terrible at that. :(
I want to flip to flower but I also want to figure out what’s going on first. It doesn’t help that I snapped a branch yesterday so I’d like to let that heal too before I flip to flower.
Ppfd is only around 450ish I think according to Photone.

MrLahey Day 7 of flower. Figured out what I was doing wrong that I mentioned in my last update. I made a MASSIVE rookie error. Like embarrassingly bad mistake haha.
When I was in the beginning of my research phase of living soil no till I was told that ph doesn’t really matter with living soil since the soil would buffer it. Well, if your ph is extremely out of whack then yes, ph absolutely matters in living soil. Since I thought it didn’t matter, I didn’t ph my water for this grow until about a week ago. My ph was 11.1! 😂😢🙄🙄🤬🤬What a stupid mistake on my part. I’m amazed the plant took almost seven full weeks of water that alkaline and survived. I guess that goes to show how strong this method can be. I was so close to my first issue free grow too.
Looking forward to finishing this one out in another couple of months. This plant will finish a few weeks before my Vivosun Vcure arrives.
