BettyFlores She grew like hell and now I'm expecting to get the tent emptied for letting Her Hayness chill in the palace. She is enormous and I do carry her to the sun twice per day; she is now much too heavy and tall to be carried around LOL.

BettyFlores There has been a lot of rain in the last few days, and after the last downpour, the branches became so heavy that they drooped everything down.
I personally call this natural LST. The rain has now opened them up from the inside, and the sun rays are hitting the middle nicely; light on their stem branching, they really like that 😜.
I can’t carry them anymore because they are too heavy and too wide to fit through my doors. Unfortunately, the lack of will negatively affect the flower production.

BettyFlores 31.07.2025 She is just gigantic! I haven't been able to move her for a long time and the weather is currently very bad; cloudy, cold, windy, rain. Not so nice at all. But she is doing splendidly and she is truly a Special Queen #1 🌸💜

BettyFlores 25.08.2025 She is so healthy and happy. A pigeon tried to land on one of the branches and it just broke from the stem. So I fixed the accident with tape and yarn (of my knitting project) and tacked the branch to the stem.
Et voilà...it worked until now and happily towards harvest 💜

BettyFlores 28.08.2025 Unfortunately, I lost the hastily secured branch and it was actually as big as a regular indoor plant 😅. It hurt my soul to have to say goodbye to it. Right now, it's very stormy and rainy, and I can be happy if I can harvest even a single flower.
It's sooo huge and taking up all the balcony space. Unbelievable!

BettyFlores 04.09.2025 I can see her through my balcony-door when lying on my bed. She is really precious and I hope that there will be no storm or other weather conditions which could harm her seriously. Let's keep fingers crossed 🌸

BettyFlores 14.09.2025 It happened! Rain and storm have split the stem, and a branch with two tops has said goodbye. I'm devastated. Wrapped in duct tape, it now stands there, and I have a bad feeling that this half of the plant is lost. Another storm system is on the way, and it might blow the rest of the plant away. I'm really sad now 😢
Watering went normally, and she even drank a bit more than usual. So I'm going to assume that the capillaries are well connected. Unfortunately, since I don't know exactly how long the branch was separated from the stem, it's quite possible that it has drawn in a lot of air and bacteria/fungal spores. Let's hope for the best.
11.09.2025 The weather is very rainy, and I'm dragging her again from the corner of the balcony to the bird feeder box to keep her dry. Unfortunately, I can't always manage that. My concern here is that the branches will break. I've already lost one top, and another one is drooping quite a bit (left in the picture).
In the meantime, she smells absolutely wonderful, and I can hardly wait to harvest this beauty. Please, dear God, help us a little 💜

BettyFlores 18.09.2025 Today she looks beautiful, with numerous flower sites. She was defoliated and lollipopped for about 3 hours, and thank God the once broken branch is holding up quite well. I hope it stays like this until harvest. Now we have 3 sunny days ahead, and I hope that gives the flowers and trichomes a nice boost 🌸

BettyFlores 26.09.2025 She's getting a lot of visitors and there's always something going on! The broken branch is holding up really well so far, and the flower display is stunning. I might take some more photos later since it's been raining continuously for the last few days. The little birds are sooo cute 🐦

BettyFlores 03.10.2025 She has been heavily defoliated again and is shining in her full beauty. In the meantime, I'm worried that she might get stolen from the balcony. The temperatures are currently icy, and maybe she's starting to turn purple? The days have been sunny, but it's supposed to rain this evening. I'll check the ripeness again today and possibly harvest. Her characteristic and unique scent often gets caught in my hair when I tend to her and accidentally brush my head against her branches. She's so lovely 🌸💜

BettyFlores 08.10.2025 The Special Queen #1 has made it, with almost all her branches. Today I harvested her and I was busy for almost 3 hours in total. Everything smells like her. I almost didn't have enough space to dry, so many buds. Just when I look out onto the balcony now, it makes my heart heavy - I will really miss her and the little birds.
I am not sure what you did different here from the first two grows of this strain, but this plant is much bigger and looking awesome. Hopefully you get the chance to let this one flower for as long as possible.
Good luck, keep going, and welcome to the community!
@BettyFlores, oh that looks professionally repaired. 😁 That’s definitely going to hold! 😎👍
If pigeons generally like to land on your trees and balcony, I highly recommend a cat net. It also minimizes the hassle with pigeon droppings, but it does limit the view a bit.
@Lotopharg, just wanted to give you a quick update on the dove. The hawk actually got it 😢. That wasn't the plan. Well, the branch didn't make it either 😅.
@Lotopharg, thank you so much! It's a shame you can't try it; believe me, it's a dream 🌸. I'm following your diaries, I'm really excited and keeping my fingers crossed for you!
Wow, she looks absolutely stunning 😍 Don't be sad about the branch. The roots are now just providing the remaining plant even more effectively.
Looks really strong 💪
