BettyFlores My little 3-tier lunchbox is the perfect breeding ground for my 3 little friends. I can keep them nice and moist inside, and with the spill protection, I can even take them to my cozy and warm bed. I'm curious to see when the ladies will show themselves for the first time.
Unfortunately, the Runtz from Barney's Farm didn't make it. The capsule wouldn't open, and when I tried to help it along, I found out that it just stopped growing after stretching the first root.
That's very sad. I still don't know if and which strain I will replant.
R.I.P. sweet little Runtz 🖤
Since the Runtz Auto is no longer here, I've decided to give Barney's Farm another chance. The Zkttls OG Auto hopefully performs better now.

BettyFlores The Barney's Farm Zkttls OG has managed to thrive so far and is happily growing along. The fact that it's growing in the Runtz patch is hopefully a positive omen.
The growth of the Afghan Kush Auto from Fast Buds is impressive. Even though it germinated the latest, it's now well ahead.
I would classify the Amnesia Zkttls from Fast Buds as rather "shy" in growth. I assume that once it reaches a certain point, it will leave all the others behind. That would be nice 🌸.

26.07.25 Today I just defoliated the Afghan Kush by the main cola, for providing more light to the lower branches. Let's see what happens .
The pretty little Amnesia I will apply the main-lining technique, but she is still to small for the attachements so I just bent her a little bit.
Unfortunately the baby Zkttls OG received to much light. The next days she will have a recovery and I think she will get back to her business very soon.

BettyFlores 07.08.2025 Wow, the Zkttlz OG from Fast Buds clearly has a mutation. I've personally never seen anything like it.
Unfortunately, I broke off a first shoot 😢. I only had some tape and hope that I could save the shoot with it. Maybe I'll just cut both off.
05.08.2025 Oh, oh! Unfortunately, I will have to give CalMag, even though I assumed that the plants were well taken care of with the all-in-one system. After the nematode treatment, I now have to wait another one to two days before I can give them the first BioBizz feeding. Yes, and because everything is organic, it will take a little while longer before they can benefit from it.
The poor Amnesia Zkittlez has been trained so strictly that it doesn't even know where exactly it should grow now 😅.
The once "small" Zkittlez OG is developing wonderfully. In the end, it will, just as I predicted, outgrow all the others 💜. Go, girl!

Super-Cropped the Original Afghan Kush for achieving an even canopé, not mentioning the tiny version of Amnesia Zkittlez, which will never reach the canopé of the others.
16.08.2025 Yesterday evening I cropped the main cola of the O. A. K. and this morning 5 am she totally recovered the stem and is standing as before the cropping. Oh, Lord 😅

BettyFlores 17.08.2025 The Original Afghan Kush is really very robust and kept standing up straight after multiple bends and clips. Now I had to give it a second clip, and for a moment, I really felt sorry for it. But it's not that bad. I assume it will need a third clip 😅.
The Zkittlez OG is doing wonderfully, and its stem and branches are as thick as my thumb. This will allow it to carry its upcoming floral splendor excellently.
The famous Amnesia Zkittlez has recovered very nicely after its complete trim. Oh God, it is so small 🌸
23.08.2025 The last few days, we had outdoor temperatures over 38°C, and that was apparently too much for my Afghan Kush. On top of that, there's the ongoing magnesium deficiency. I'm trying everything to prevent its death and praying that I can succeed.

BettyFlores 25.08.2025 Recovery week! The Afghan Kush is on the mend and I’m happy, happy, happy 😍
As predicted, the Zkttlz OG is now the biggest and prettiest plant. Since it’s a week behind, I was able to start the CalMag supplementation just in time.
So, pro tip: always supplement Aptus nutrients with CalMag.
28.08.2025 The ailing Afghan Kush is slowly coming back to life and stretching out quite a bit. I might have also given her the last push with too much water 😅.
But hey, here she comes!
Unfortunately, the other two are currently falling a bit behind in care. They don’t really need me right now 💜
30.08.2025 The Afghan Kush is doing much better. All three have tolerated the foliar feeding with Epsom salt well. However, this was my first Aptus run and possibly my last.
I hope all three somehow make it to harvest and please, please also produce a decent yield 🌸

BettyFlores 31.08.2025 The still weakened Afghan Kush is really picking up speed now! The new leaves all have a healthy color and the buds are developing beautifully. Phew, that was really close.
The Amnesia Zkittlez is still very small and in pre-flowering. I'm surprised that it was planted at the same time as the Afghan Kush and is still so far behind.
Outstanding is the Zkttlz OG. Beautiful and strong, with numerous buds and thick branches.
All three were fertilized with leaf nutrients today (CalMag).
02.09.2025 Today, we did some serious defoliation again. Only the Afghan Kush was spared. I'm letting it have its peace for now so it can continue to recover.
06.09.2025 The Zkttlz OG has been producing trichomes for several days now, and autumn is slowly making its entrance. Magenta-purple leaf edges and beautiful buds 🌸

BettyFlores 07.09.2025 Today I decided to boost the mineral feeding. Actually, all three should be well taken care of with the Apthus fertilizer and the buffer, but the Afghan Kush desperately needs help, and doing something is better than doing nothing at all. The EC is at 2.5, and I hope this helps her and doesn't cause additional harm. An experiment 🌸.
The Mini-Amnesia is in stretch (sweet, such a little thing). Honestly, these plants are really like Gremlins. These strong changes in every phase are always fascinating!
The Zkttlz OG now smells absolutely wonderful like candy and is sticky like cotton candy too. Not much longer, and she’ll be ready.
10.09.2025 The Afghan Kush looks sooo much better! I should have done this step much earlier, but I doubted the idea.

The once dying Afghan Kush has also developed beautiful flowers and smells quite seductive. She will be ready for harvest soon as well. The little Amnesia Zkittlez got a good leaf trim today, and I more or less lollypopped her. It's hard to get in there with her now.

19.09.2025 Just the day before yesterday, I defoliated her again, and now the training is paying off. She has so many buds! Wow, I didn't expect that. Plus, she's really pretty to look at, and I've grown quite fond of her, the "Uff'gestumpde," as the people from Hesse like to say.

Die Afghan Kush Auto hat mir so einige Sorgen bereitet und ich dachte zeitweise, dass ich sie verlieren würde. Doch am Ende ging alles gut und heute, sm 16.09.2025, konnte ich sie endlich ernten. Der Duft ist betörend, die Ausbeute doch eher gering. Ich bin gespannt auf das Trockengewicht und das folgende Raucherlebnis.

Es ist vollbracht und diese betörend duftendende Zkittlez OG Auto wurde geerntet. Leider ist die Ernte nicht die größte und sicherlich hätte man mehr herausholen können. Aber die Lampe war neu und bis ich die richtige Leistung gefunden hatte, war der Grow auch schon fast vorbei. Da ich ja generell Heuschnupfen habe, juckt gerade alles, da sie wirklich sehr harzig ist und jede Stelle auf meiner Haut, die sie berührte, reagiert mit Juckreiz. Prädikat "wird absolut knallen"

BettyFlores 24.09.2025 Oh my God, this fertilizer is just wonderful. The little Amnesia Zkittlez is outpacing all the others and developing very trichome-rich and dense buds. It can't be long now, and I'm really looking forward to her harvest.
I also want to mention that she has been allowed to sleep for 2 hours longer for some time now, and my pro tip would be to let her sleep as much as an Autoflower just like a Photoperiod. The humidity is also around 60%, and it doesn't harm her at all, quite the opposite!

BettyFlores 29.09.2025 Not much longer now. In the meantime, she has developed some orange pistils, and her scent is like the wind over a lemon grove. The training is paying off now, and this is despite being an Automatic, this, that, pineapple 😅
02.10.2025 I could imagine harvesting her on Sunday. The trichomes are wonderfully milky, and her buds are getting plumper and plumper. What a joy!

@Lotopharg, thanks for your loyalty. The difference between the two is definitely noticeable. The Zkttlz really smells sweet and "candy-like," while the Afghani has a very "heavy" and classic scent (that makes the best hash). Lots of love 🌸
