Grow_Shack_Kev 6-16-25, Soaked in innoculated water using recharge for 24 hrs. Then into the a paper towel . 6- 17to 6-18 in paper towel. Planted into solo cups in fox farm ocean forest on the evening of 6-18-25 as healthy taproots about 1/4 to 3/8" had grown.. Sprouted from soil on the morning of 6-21-25. Covered them with a clear baggy to retain higher humidity levels, allowing faster and healthier growth of seedlings.

Grow_Shack_Kev TODAY marks day 7 of week 1 of veg. .On 7-1-25 I transplanted from the solo cup into 1 gal., I really try not to allow the roots to bottom out and start t swirl around the container. In my opinion it can slow root growth, slowing vegetative growth. I used 1 gal. Plastic pots with about 1" of rocks in the bottom to assure they have proper draining. I misted the seedlings daily, and kept the soil lightly dampened. Both seedlings grew healthy and quickly so far. The roots are spreading well this far and I'm extremely happy with them to this point. My light has been set down to 25% from day 1, giving off a ppfd of about 290 I'll begin calculating DLI beginning week 2 OF VEG. I CONSIDER MY PLANTS TO BE IN VEG. once the first true leaves have fully grown in, which was on 7-3-25 The VPD IS between .7- .8. Both are HAPPY AND HEALTHY WITH GREAT COLOR.

Grow_Shack_Kev Transplanted into the 3.5 gal. In fresh fox farm soil on July 14th. And I topped them as well on the 15th .Gave the plants their first dose of nutes, using Hygrozyme's base A and B nutes at 1/2 strength (5mm /Gal of each, part A and B) to ease them into feeding today ,July 18th and they're looking as to have handled it well, they were all standing up and praying under a PPFD OF 450 , alongside the introduction of the nutrients and beneficial microbes.

Grow_Shack_Kev Healthy robust growth into the 3rd week of veg. Temps got up over 100 F outside which caused my temps inside to rise significantly, to between 85-90 F. I noticed a bit of heat stress after 3 straight days of high temps as the leaves were starting to taco, mostly on the new growth. Water uptake increased as well. Vpd stayed between .9 and 1.1 which is ideal for mid veg. I also increased the PPFD up to just above 600. It will stay there until flower. Fed once this week still at only 1/2 strength, with recharge at full dose. Will increase dosage of hygrozyme base nutes in another week or so.topped and began using stakes to lay branches flat encouraging lateral/ horizontal growth rather than vertically. The plants handled everything without showing any visible signs of stress.

Grow_Shack_Kev I did some heavy Super-Cropping on one of the gals this week to ensure a good even canopy, allowing all parts of the plant to receive an equal amount of light , it also maximizes my grow space, and allows for better efficiency as well. I only super-cropped 1 of them. The other girl I just done a lil LST and Defoliation on. We'll see how it goes. If all goes well I plan on flipping to a 12/12 light cycle to initiate flowering in about another week. Transpiration has increased, which also means higher water uptake. Gave a Full dose nutrient solution this feeding and it seemed to take well to it and prove beneficial to the plants. Vpd remains between .9 - 1.1. PPFD still slightly above 600 across the entire canopy. 660 closer to center under the light. Overall even light distribution.

What tips and tricks do u know of that may help to decrease vegetative cycle time to get to flower faster, without compromising the quality and yield , in relation to plant size of course????
