Added TNB Enhancer for two weeks, 2L jug add water and shake method. hung the jug up high above my small 6" clip fan to push it down on the plant directly, I have another large Wind Devil on the floor pushing air back up, as well as exhaust and carbon filter on low, at the top, humidity and heat controlled.
you will see the huge difference c02 makes even just for two weeks. will I be adding C02 again in deep flower.
shwing!
so i started this diary on about week 10 and added all the previous pics hastily so dont get too excited if growth seems super fast all of a sudden in the pics, it wasn't. i guessed some of the dates to rush it along for the first 5 weeks after that pics are about right for growth, as time goes i will find time to correct then update this post.
things are moving along. big reminder to calibrate your PH meter more often than not. mine says every 30 days, but don't trust them. calibrate every 15days to be safe, or if your starting with tap water like me, then get to know your routine and water. My water measures around 8.4PH straight out of the tap. and about 2-3 drops of ph down into my large jug (about2L) gets it around 6.4-6.8 PH usually. however; I became complacent. Don't do that. I failed to check my calibration and my meter drifted slowly over the month and I unknowingly slowly screwed up my ph. uhhh, long story short. watch your grow everyday and don't get to comfortable that's when Murphy gets you. Luckily i caught it pretty quick i feel. we shall see, but I got some sun burn too. but it's mild. I caught that quick to. measure your light height often. know your light.
ramble on
things looking great other wise, slow and steady. but this strain is fussy as hell in coco/dry organics.
Added “DakotaTea” compost tea from concentrate as soil conditioner and ph buffer. With 2L ph water 6.8.
Removed few leaves here and there that were damaged from burn and or ph.
C02 was added this week few days in now. Buds are picking up nicely.
From start of the week to the end of the week buds improved massive. From tiny wee things to decent starting point considering I had PH issue and light burn.
Added a Dakota tea helped a lot. (Compost tea from concentrate. )
Well this week was much better. Slowed down my early fall depletion’s by adding a bit of organic liquid nutes very mild. 1/4 solution strength and some cal mag. Soil tests pointed the way and helped rejuvenate the plant.
No more Gaia from here on as can’t flush that.
Patiently waiting :)
Well she certainly is a haggard old beast. But the buds look nice. Definitely flushed by her looks. Ha. Maybe a bit too soon tho for my liking. We shall see how she holds out. So far still growing. Ambers here and there. Cloudy are the rest and some new freshies too.
‘‘This is my first grow indoors and first time with dry organic and finally another first is the coco coir. Takes some getting used too. I’m used to dirt and water.
Now I’m PH’g and measuring things I had no idea about just last year.
But my next run should be better. Got a clone already to go so as soon as she’s is chopped I should get another try.
😬
Just add water.
Another week maybe. She is still growing. Doing what I call the fattening where the buds just get fat and just watering with PH6.8 everyday.
Well growth kicked back in again so no choppy choppy yet.
This round I had too many complications as I grew my knowledge too.
I’m going to do this strain right away. Maybe do a healthier run now that I know the strain better. ...we’ll see😬
Im still super excited to see this odd fall skinny monster burn. Updates soon.
My first tent grow, coco coir, known genetics, organic dry fertilizer, and many other firsts. But I would say this is a harder grow but not overly difficult. I had many troubles from gnats to over fert then under fert but the plant held it own. Once I got it back on track it was game on again. So even tho I had many troubles this plant didn’t show it much end result. I feel I could have had more size had I not run into issues. Bet all I love it and recommend it HIGHLY!
Long grow cycle. Strain wants to get huge but I kept it smaller ish. Starts out looking very indica but ends up looking saliva. Loves phosphorus I couldn’t give it enough. Strong genetics and this pheno had very purple stems and no smell. However some of the clones it produced are very different some are stinky skunkswith dark lush green leaves and others were the same so mommy. No smell and flat green leaves.
The but looks amazing. So crystalline and very sativa style s in leafy rather than dense. However they are def dense for a sativa strain.
I noticed your losing color pretty good. I just re read your post in my diary. Because I used PH perfect line, my ph was always bang on. What’s your medium? Peat or coco? I see your running 6.6ph on runoff. Definitely too high for soilless. Phosphorous lockout is likely your culprit.
My issue was reverse, my ph on runoff gradually went down. You may want to look into what you can add to buffer the ph, and lower it. Phosphorous is quite important to flower growth.
Your pistils are still pretty young looking. How many weeks left you figure? Mine started going orange about 3-4 weeks before I chopped.
Looking like some nice buds forming! Your in for a treat come harvest time!
