Gorilla Cookies Mutant

leithsffs This was an experiment that I didn't expect to work out. So, it was on a different diary of mine. The plant had topped itself at the first node. Now, I'm naturally inquisitive and like to see where things are going. So, I kept the little girl and kept repotting her to see what would happen. Manifolding and topping seemed to be the best option. Those techniques worked great. The final pot is 10 gallons because i knew at some point I may be sending her outside to the sunlight. I didn't want to do it too soon. Eight weeks in a tent and she looked like she could take the sunlight beating down on her. And, after speaking with some of my neighbors, they couldn't care less. I hope this works. Life is supposed to be full of enjoyment. And, these gardens I grow bring joy to many.

leithsffs I didn't do anything but give her some water this week. And, yet, she grew 9 inches in a week. I suppose she just needed a lot of sunlight. It worries me about how big she plans on getting before the natural 12/12 happens. I'll do some lst training to get her to spread out some to get sunlight down below like I did to the Gorilla Zkittles plants.

leithsffs No grow techniques yet. But, I'm thinking I need to do a little defoliation and LST this week. The growth after putting her outside is still blowing my mind. An inch a day! And, she is so hungry! I may have to move some plants around and scrog her out, too. My poor little greenhouse is only so tall.

leithsffs I'm not sure if this will work well or not. But, I decided to scrog this plant out to help keep the height down and to give the inner and lower growth more chance to get some sunlight. I had an extra 5 foot long piece of pvc that I use to water it. Thank goodness for extra pieces! Yes, of course that's a homemade scrog net. It's not easy making a 5x6 net and keep it all tight. It's a bitch, it really is. It'll be about time to reammend the soil next weekend. That should be fun to reach in there. Super happy for long arms for that chore.

leithsffs Just some nutrients and patience this week. I'll probably need to defoliate this weekend. If anyone is curious, the scrog net is 60in x 72in. The plant takes up about 48in x 48in of that space. Still, not too bad for a genetic mutant. 😀

leithsffs I know, I know. she needs a good defoliation. Sigh. I'll get to it tomorrow. It's been a long work week. And, I just finished harvesting one of the Gorilla Zkittles today after work.

leithsffs I noticed the tell tale light green colors of preflower about a week ago. So, I'll start the flowering clock now. Mid to late October will be good for a late season harvest. If she were in a tent, she'd need a 4'x4' tent as she is 45 inches by 45 inches. Being in a greenhouse has been a definite bonus. She'll need the protection because the area i live in has some crazy winds and storms.

leithsffs It was about time to do some lollipopping. So, the bottom third had to go. Too much veg in the way. More nutrients and worm casting today should take it about half way to harvest. Other than that, not much to report today. Happy growing everyone!

leithsffs I had to move her inside today. It is getting too cold and damp outside. Unfortunately, I live in a wet area. So, back in she goes. She also got a major defoliation and lollipopping, too. I'm pretty sure she'll be in shock for a few days if she survives.

leithsffs Not much for change this week. I think she is getting over the shock of the defoliation, lollipopping, and moving her back indoors all at the same time. As time is not of the essence, I'm only looking to get some good healthy buds from this plant. Also, she's my last grow for the year because it will be too cold to grow after this.
