leithsffs These little ones were never meant to be. At least, I didn't mean to start them when I was defoliatting and topping the other plants. The fact they are still alive means the plant gods had a plan for them all along. I didn't plan on starting clones. So, I had these 2.5 inch (6cm) apical cuts sitting on the table for at least 30 minutes. When I took a good look at them, I decided they looked like they might be a good experiment (I love to experiment). Step 1: cleaned up the little bit of lower foliage and clipped the leaves short. Step 2: soak them in a glass of bottled water i had been sipping on for 5 minutes. Step 3: dip them in some cloning powder I had sitting around for the last 4 years that had been purchased for cloning my tomato plants. Step 4: put them in a 4 inch pot with Fox Farms Happy Frog soil and keep the dome on. Step 5: put them on a heating mat for 1 week because the air temperature outside gets a little too low. Well, it worked, the two clones I pushed the soil down on to rooted well. The other two, didn't fair so well. This will make a nice little unexpected crop considering so many things I didn't do just right. Wish me luck!

leithsffs Nothing but a little Cal Mag in their water this week. As soon as they fill out the trellis, these girls are getting flipped. I'm hoping for 3 weeks out.

leithsffs No extra nutrients this week. I little CalMag in the water is all they get. I'm slowly flipping them to flower. Wednesday and Saturday, I take off 2 hours of light. I'm trying not to shock them into herming out on me. They're ready to flip since they've getting close to filling out the net. No worries on the yield on these little ladies as they're bonus babies. Have a great week!
