After making this change and seeing that my plant started to react, I decided to start the experiment by doing an early LST for my taste based on its size, but due to the 2-week delay from the previous lights, I decided to do it anyway. ElJardindeMazzeo It was a good week, the plant started to grow after being stagnant, and I allowed myself to experiment with a technique based on defoliating the leaves of the main shoot with the idea of slowing down its growth so that the side shoots can develop to the same height and, from a young age, it can start to grow evenly. For now, we will continue using the LST method combined with strategic pruning.

On day 32, I performed another strategic defoliation on the main bud to prevent it from developing more than the lateral buds. This helped in the process of forming a bushy, more compact, and even structure. There was interesting progress during the week, with good growth potential. This week, two waterings were done with 1.5 L of dechlorinated tap water left for 48 hours.

This caused another burst of energy, resulting in exponential growth between days 46 and 48. We increased watering to 2.5 L of dechlorinated tap water over 48 hours, along with 3 ml of Top Veg from Top Crop. A beautiful internodal structure is observed, with short but very vigorous nodes, achieving a very attractive and well-developed bush shape. There are also signs that it could start flowering next week, as I identified about 3 or 4 pistils on the upper buds.

In the second watering, we completely removed the Top Veg, making a full transition to flowering fertilizers, maintaining 3 L of dechlorinated tap water for 48 hours, along with 2 ml of Top Candy. We applied LST to the central branch to level the height, making the top “flat” and uniform, leveling all the tips to maximize light distribution.

ElJardindeMazzeo Two weeks into flowering. At the end of this week, we did some pruning where we removed basal or "orbital" leaves that weren't getting good light or were too low on the plant. We also took out low shoots inside the plant that wouldn't reach the top, aiming to redirect energy towards the tips we want to explode in growth.
