1st Aero Grow

Mariejohanna Hey there, I bought cuttings for the first time. I placed them directly into my new aeroponic system. Everything's new ;) going from seeds to cuttings and from soil to aero. I'm curious to see if it works out. I'm starting with an EC of 0.8 and a pH of 5.2. The interval is 15 minutes off and 15 seconds on. Unfortunately, the cutting suffered a bit during transport, but it shouldn't be a problem.

Mariejohanna The EC value had to be quickly corrected upwards; I initially had a decent under-fertilization in there :( annoying, but for the next attempt, I know what to do now :) I'm currently at an EC of 1.5.

Mariejohanna Hey, I had to adjust the EC again. I'm now at 2.0 and my little one is doing great :) the pH is hovering between 5.3 and 5.6, I let it swing ;) just like my little one feels like it :D I've got the watering interval set to 4 seconds on and 5 minutes off now.

Mariejohanna Both the pH and EC values are stable. The plant is developing well and has received a decent growth boost. Towards the end, a phosphorus deficiency became visible, so I switched from Vega to Flores. I adjusted the pH back to 5.5. I set the EC to 2.1. My starting water has 0.3, and I bring it up to 0.5 with Calmag. I'm curious whether my first Aero Grow will lead to a harvest. I'll keep you updated.

Mariejohanna Hey there, the little plant has gotten another nice growth spurt. The first flowers are clearly visible. I'm still excited and will keep you updated. ;)
