Hanakage Cloning:
3 Radical Juice and 1 Cherry R2
Rock wool method in a mini greenhouse to maintain temperature. I soak the rock wool for 30 min with Root Booster and nutrients (Grow and Bloom) adjusting the pH. I use a sterilized razor blade, pruning scissors, and nitrile gloves to handle the clones. I cut exactly in the middle of the node to increase rooting since this part has a higher accumulation of auxins. I usually cut clones with a minimum of 4 nodes. After cutting them, I place them in the same solution as the rock wool and wait about 15 minutes. Lastly, I dip the clones in Sela Gel and wait 10 min before putting them in the mini greenhouse with the rock wool. I keep it closed for 2 days, open it on the 3rd for 20 min, and do the same on the 4th, 5th, 6th, and 7th. When I start to see roots, I begin to leave the holes in the mini greenhouse semi-open to let the rock wool dry more and stimulate them to produce more roots in search of water. On days 5, 7, 9, and 11, I soak the rock wool in the nutrient solution. The solution used for these clones is around 400-500 PPM. Ready for transplant on day 7-11. If I notice the clones having difficulty absorbing water from the environment, I do foliar fertilization with a CaMg solution.
Germination:
Cup and a drop of Fulvic Acid TA, wait 18-24 hours for the radicle and place directly in coco that has been buffered for more than 18 hours in CaMg 1500 PPM pH 6.0
Notes:
I have 3 seeds of Chantily; I will test the best pheno while keeping them in vegetation and later take 3 clones from each, flower the 9, test them post-harvest, and choose the definitive mother (Chantily). The Cherry and Radical Juice are being perpetuated.
