Chrisandweed Germinated in a glass of water (I clarify that I won't do it again, the success rate is low) and then moved to a propagator with double auxiliary light. After 2 days in the propagator, I transferred it to a final pot of 20L.

Chrisandweed Last week of vegetative. I noticed the tips are curling down and in, I'm not sure why, if it's nutrient burn even though it doesn't quite look like it, or a reaction to me lowering the lights and having them too close, I've raised them now; or maybe a lack of water because I've realized that this last week the consumption has skyrocketed. Overall everything is going well and it looks like we're starting flowering flying xD. Of the 4 autos, this one might be the smallest, I think there was a slight blockage but I'm not sure if it's due to pH or EC, I don't think it's from overfeeding or deficiencies. Anyway, since the Purple Sunset XXL that’s among these 4 has a week less than the others, I'm not sure if this Hyperion is the small or contained one, or if that one will be, but if the PSXXL is the weak one, it's either due to mutation or a problem with the seed, from germination to its growth it has been weird.

Chrisandweed The photo was taken before watering. Now that the lights are on, if I can, I'll take some pictures to see if they wake up happy. This one apparently got blocked during the first week of flowering and struggled to stretch at the start.. I'm surprised since these are the famous F1 hybrids from RQS, I guess there was some blockage that slowed it down, still very bushy. Edit: the lights are on now and there it is, happy.. working on it hahaha

Chrisandweed Well, it was said, it fell short compared to the others, but let's give it a good flowering and see if I can get all the potential of terpenes from the buds it produces.

Chrisandweed This, along with the mimosa cocktail, has suffered from a red spider mite infestation. I used diatomaceous earth, but it hasn't been very effective. Now, despite the risk of flowering, I'm using spider and soap from the Boom Nutrients brand, a miticide and a potassium soap. Yesterday, I made an application after turning off the lights, and tomorrow I'll do another one. Today, I've already seen a lot of bugs disappearing from the affected leaves, but the infestation won't be eradicated at this point; at most, I'll try to keep it under control. Regardless of that, even though it's been small, it smells amazing, super strong and really good!

Chrisandweed The white stuff was powdery mildew. I fought it (and I'm still fighting it) with 1% hydrogen peroxide per liter of water through foliar spraying.

Chrisandweed On the leaves, you can see the spots from the residual powdery mildew.. for now it's inactive, but I don't know if it will come back. What I do know for sure is that when I harvest, I'm going to do bud washing and I'll try to bring it here to the diary. I'll do it with the goal of getting rid of all spores and residue. On another note, have you seen the soooo dark purple tones that the leaves are getting? There's even one that's half green, half dark purple! I'll probably leave them for another week or two, I mean, this week and maybe next, I want to get the amber trichomes, not all of them but about 40/60 white/amber..

Chrisandweed Nothing, I would say it's the last week for this baby. It seems that the treatments I did against powdery mildew have turned out to be effective, but there was still a spider hanging around until the end. Today it has dried, and this afternoon when the lights come on, I will water it, and surely when it dries from this watering, I will cut it. The buds are hard as rocks, but literally like rocks hahahaha I want to have it dry and manicured to make a video dropping a bud on whatever and hear the thud it makes hahahaha they sound like weights! I really like the plant, the smell, and the buds, but what I haven't liked is its resistance... It has been quite poor, if it wasn't one thing, it was another, it's true that it recovered very well and quickly... But I don't know, then the size, I think it could have used a little more (the stretching coincided with pests and slowed it down a bit but oh well) but it wasn't aiming to be huge. Anyway, when I cut it, I will update and we'll see when it dries the final weight if the buds speak well of the strain or not.

Chrisandweed Last week, just waiting for them to finish sucking the leaves and then I'll chop. There's spider mite webbing, for a change, on some tips. Since I'll be doing bud washing, I'm not too worried since I'll be cutting it down soon. Like I said, very delicate, having issues until the end.

Happy Harvest Day!

previously I gave it a medium low score, but no, the grass has been of quality, it hits really hard and its citrus flavors were there, very frosty and well-formed buds. I spoke from resentment for the "bad" resistance it had, but once smoked... Things change, it has held up a lot because it wasn't necessary to use so much, those who know, know xD

Chrisandweed I did bud washing since they were soooo attacked this last week by spider mites.. I don't think this plant has had even a full week of peace, but well, despite everything, I was able to harvest it and relatively well. There are photos where you can see the webs completely covering the buds, but I'll upload photos and a video of the buds hanging on the drying rack to remove the excess moisture by soaking them in different solutions with water, and there they look clean. Also, when they dry and I manicure them, I'll take more photos.

Bro quick question.. mine starting to go pale a bit, is this normal? You’re one is looking good!
Chrisandweed
Chrisandweed commented9mo ago
@Kayesix, I'm going to write to you in my language and just translate :) I don't know what you mean by pale, do you mean white? Or do you mean yellow? If it's yellow or white leaning towards yellowish, it might be due to a lack of potassium or some blockage resulting from that lack. It might make more sense what I'm saying if you're in flowering. On the other hand, a slightly higher pH can make the plant search more for potassium, and when it's slightly lower, it looks more for nitrogen and phosphorus... I hope I'm not mistaken about the order, but I recommend measuring the water that drains from your plants after watering them with plenty of water, the same you always use, but without fertilization, and in that measurement, check the pH and EC. If the pH comes out high, it's almost certain that it's lacking flowering nutrients, and then, if the EC comes out high, you might be blocking absorption, and even if you give it good food, it won't take it in. If you're already in the last days, it's the normal color due to senescence, just give it water and wait for the cut. I have a grow diary with a plant "auto purple sunset xxl" just finished, pending to upload photos of its curing, as I found myself in a situation possibly similar to yours. I insist that I don't know what week you'll be in, but my plant yellowed too early and I was putting my theories in the diary. In the end, I held out until its natural end and it turned out incredible! Maybe that diary will be useful to you! Best regards and thanks for watching my follow-up!!! 😁😁😁 P.S.: Sorry for taking so long to reply, I even left some grows without updates, I couldn't get in these last weeks.
the end.
