In this grow diary, we meticulously document the life cycle of the Anesia Blackberry Moonrocks Autoflower. We chose this strain to explore its unique genetics and reproduce the impressive results reported, using our tried-and-true growing method. Of course, we’ll ignore the packaging instructions for now! 👍🌱

Strain Description: Anesia Blackberry Moonrocks Autoflower
The Blackberry Moonrocks Autoflower from Anesia is a hybrid autoflower known for its exceptional potency and unique terpene profile. It is a strain that has emerged from the award-winning Blackberry Moonrocks, combining the best traits of indica and sativa genetics.
* Genetics: A cross based on the original Blackberry Moonrocks genetics, refined with ruderalis genes to enable automatic flowering.
* Effects: Reportedly delivers a powerful, long-lasting "high" that deeply relaxes the body while uplifting the mind.
* Terpene Profile: A complex aroma dominated by sweet berries and fruity notes, underscored by earthy and hash-like undertones.
* Flowering Time: About 9-10 weeks from germination to harvest.
Week 0: The Germination Phase
The germination of our Blackberry seed has begun.
* Day 0.1: After soaking in 1% H₂O₂, the seed was placed in our substrate, the coconut germination medium – a hole filled with about 100 ml of coconut in a 400 ml pot, surrounded by 300 ml of light mix.
* Day 0.2: The first patience phase begins. We wait for the seed to break its shell.
* Day 0.3/0.4: The first signs of life are visible. The seedling's cotyledons break through the substrate after we observed an initial bulge in the substrate surface. We then increased the DLI from about 12 to 16 to provide the seedling with enough light.
* Day 0.5: We removed the cover to lower the relative humidity to about 80% and increased the light intensity to 20 DLI.
* Day 0.6: Everything is under control. The plant shows vigorous growth.
* Day 0.7: The light dome has been removed. The relative humidity is now dropping to 60-65%, encouraging the plant to develop a strong root system.
* Fertilization & Measurements: No fertilizer or water needed.

Borberad Week 1: The Foundation is Being Laid
The Moonrocks is in the first week of Veg. The first "true" leaves are unfolding, which signals the start of our nutrient supply. Today, for the first time, there was water enriched with 5 ml/l Hesi Root for strong root development and 2 ml/l Calmag to harden our osmosis water. If signs of deficiency appear, we will additionally add 2.5 ml/l Hesi TNT.
The DLI has been increased to 30.
* Plant Condition: The first "true" leaves are fully developed.
* Important Events: Start of nutrient feeding. Increase of the DLI.
* Fertilization & Measurements:
* Watering: pH about 6.0. Conductivity about 2 S.
* Drain: We measure sporadically to maintain the deviation of +/- 500 S.

Vegetation Week 2: The foundation is being laid and repotting is coming up. The first "true" leaves of the Blackberry have already unfolded and new nodes are forming, which is our signal to start nutrient feeding. This week we will use the standard nutrient dose for the first time, adjusted to the plant's needs: 2.5 - 5ml Hesi TNT for proper nutrients during growth, 5 ml/l Hesi Root for strong root development, and 2 ml/l Calmag to harden our osmosis water. The DLI was increased to 40 over the course of the week. On Day 12 of Veg, we will transplant into the final 20l fabric pot.
* Plant condition: The first "true" leaves are fully developed and more nodes are forming.
* Important events: Start of nutrient feeding. Increase of DLI. Repotting into 20L fabric pot.
* Fertilization & measurements:
* Watering: 2 - 2.5l pH around 6.0. Conductivity around 1.4 - 2 S.

Training Begins
With the start of the third week, our moon rock reaches a new development phase in its final home. The growth for training begins. Once it reaches a height of at least 30 cm, which it is still quite a bit away from, we will start with Low Stress Training (LST) using clips and stakes. The goal is to train the plant horizontally to create an even canopy and more flower sites. The feeding schedule for this week includes 5 ml/l Hesi Root, 2 ml/l Calmag, and 2.5 ml/l Hesi TNT, with the TNT dose increased to 5 ml/l if needed.
* Plant Condition: The plant is robust and shows vigorous growth.
* Important Events: Start of LST.
* Feeding & Measurements:
* Watering: 2-2.5l pH around 6.0. EC around 2 mS.
* Drain: We ensure that the pH does not drop below 5.5 and does not exceed 6.8.

The plant is stretching and developing flower clusters. The DLI has been gradually raised to 40-45. The feeding schedule is being switched to flowering. Depending on the need, there's Hesi Boost and Cal-mag, sometimes with Silica Force (which contains potassium along with silica) together with Hesi pH- (phosphoric acid) to adjust the pH level (6.3), or Hesi Boost.
* Plant condition: Strong flowering stretch, first flower clusters visible.
* Important events: Increase in DLI.
* Feeding & measurements:
Watering: pH around 6.3. EC 1.4 to 2 mS.
Drain: We ensure that the pH does not drop below 5.5 and does not exceed 6.8, and that the EC stays within +/- 500 mS deviation.

The bloom is in full swing! The plant is stretching vigorously and developing beautiful flower clusters. The DLI has been gradually increased to 40-45. The feeding schedule remains unchanged.

* Adjustments: This time we let the flower grow without any training. However, one branch was bent during training this week and was supported with a straw. (unintentional HST).
Sehr robuste und Stress resistente Pflanze mit angenehmen Duft zum Ende der Blüte. Stretch hielt sich in Grenzen obwohl es der erste Grow war bei dem die Pflanze nicht getoppt wurde.

Borberad In the last few days, the little flower slowly started to change color, but the hoped-for purple/black didn't happen.
Hey hey, I'm curious, my moonrock saw the light yesterday, I'm also using the Hesi line. Anyway, I'm grateful to have seen that, now the anticipation is even greater. 😄
This is one of those breeders that I see a lot and am impressed with what I see, but I haven't ever tried them myself yet.
They will be in my top 5 breeders to try if/when I get back to growing myself.
