Loud_Standart420 This is the beginning of my first attempt at growing cannabis. Due to limited space and money, I decided to build my own Spacebucket from scratch.
I used two 35-litre buckets and stacked them on top of each other. For ventilation, I installed two 120 mm USB PC fans: one at the bottom for air intake and one at the top for air exhaust. To contain the smell, I cut out some active charcoal foam and placed it in front of the fans.
The inside of the buckets is covered with a space blanket to reflect as much light as possible.
I chose the Critical Kush strain from Barney's Farm because of its small, compact structure.

Loud_Standart420 This week, I started topping the plant in preparation for mainlining. I opted for the mainlining training technique to keep the plant small and within the limited space of the bucket while maximising yields.
The training went well, although I could have waited a little longer.
I had some nutrient issues because I tried using citric acid to regulate the pH of the water, which turned out to be a bad idea.

Loud_Standart420 I topped it for a second time this week and secured the branches with some wire. Unfortunately, I was a bit too heavy-handed and broke one of the main branches. I secured the broken branch with a wooden stick and duct tape. I should have waited a little longer before doing any intense training. I also kept the branches down too strongly.
Despite the broken branch, the plant is growing quickly and strongly. Next time, I will give the plant more time to grow before I start training it.

Loud_Standart420 The plant recovered well from the incident, although the fan leaves dried out a bit.
After a few days, I trained the plant further and defoliated it. Another branch snapped slightly, so I supported it with a stick and duct tape, and it recovered quite quickly.
After being defoliated and trained, the plant grew quickly and formed an even canopy.

Loud_Standart420 This is the final week of the vegetation stage.
The plant has reached a good height, with the canopy evenly filling the inside of the bucket. As some branches are growing quicker and higher than others, I used 3D-printed plant trainers to keep the longer branches down and even out the canopy.
I also pinched the stem to manipulate the direction in which the branch is growing.

Loud_Standart420 This is the final week of the flowering stage and I have started flushing the plant with plain tap water. Some of the leaves at the end of the plant are drying out and turning brown as it reaches the end of its life cycle.
The plant's colours and smell have intensified.
This strain was perfect for my condition and very easy to grow. I didn't experience any problems whatsoever. The plant stayed small and compact. The smell during the flowering stage was amazing, changing after drying to a piney, citrusy scent with hints of earth.
The effect on me was quite unspectacular — what you would expect from a typical kush: a full-body stone and deep relaxation.

Loud_Standart420 I'm very pleased with how this run went, and with how the product turned out. Everything went smoothly, and the results are stunning! Although the yield is lower than expected, the quality of the product is exceptional. It smells, tastes and smokes very well.
I'm looking forward to future runs in this Spacebucket. The next one will be Purple Punch from Barney's Farm.
Thanks for reading my diary.
Peace!
