Fireproof Friday 05.09.25 - Skunk #1 in Pot - The Choco didn't produce any leaves after being planted in the pot - dead - On 02.09.25, let a Skunk #1 germinate in a glass of water - On 05.09.25, planted in the pot, no Mycotrex used Thursday 28.08.25 - Seeds in Pot - Directly in Aquapot 15l - Soil up to 5cm below the edge - 2xBioTabs slow-release tabs placed 10cm from the bottom of the pot - Planting hole 1cm deep, added 5g Mycotrex, seeds with taproot facing down - Watered with 1l of water mixed with 1g Bactrex + 10ml Orgatrex - Placed on the windowsill Wednesday 27.08.25 - Seed has germinated Sunday 24.08.25 17:30 - Seed in the glass of water, pressed down slightly Today I placed my only seed in the glass of water and pressed down lightly so it can soak up and the germination process can begin. I'm referring back to my first grow, which was very successful and produced a strong end product (see my first diary: https://growdiaries.com/diaries/236501-sensi-seeds-choco-automatic-grow-journal-by-fireproof). The biggest difference this time: The grow tent is in the basement. In the office, the exhaust and ventilation system was just too loud over time. However, the conditions in the basement are a bit more extreme. I will closely observe how the seed and later the plant react to the temperature fluctuations. Conclusion: The second run starts – this time with only one plant and slightly changed conditions. I'm curious to see how the change of location affects growth and yield.

That didn't go well with the adjusted Spider heater settings Since I will be on vacation for 9 days starting 27.09, I adjusted some parameters again. After the vacation, I want to turn on my AquaPot system and have prepared the pot accordingly as described in https://www.growmart.de/mediafiles/Sonstiges/AutoPot/autopot-growers-guide-complete-en.pdf: "Pot up and with the pot outside the tray, water each pot through. When you see water draining from the bottom of the pot, stop. Allow the pot to drain for 15 mins." Boom Boom Spray 2.5ml mixed with 500 ml water sprayed. Fireproof 21.10.25 (Day 44): - Filled water reservoir to 30L - Stopped water supply for next fertilization - Adjusted distance to the lamp to 30 cm. With the SCROG net, no further adjustments should be necessary now 22.10.25 (Day 45): - AquaPot is empty - Fertilized according to BioTabs scheme: 1g Bactrex, 20ml Orgatrex in 1L water - Poured about 500 ml into AquaPot - Installed WiFi in the grow room. From now on, using my temperature and hydrometer that records data, allows alarms for temperature/humidity under/over limits. 23.10.25 (Day 46): - 18:33: AquaPot is empty, poured the rest of the nutrient solution into AquaPot - Installed the sensor of the Spider heater and temperature/hydro meter at plant height - Reconfigured Spider heater - operation is quite cumbersome, I read the manual again. When activating the day/night mode, you have to leave the setting for 3 seconds to activate it. Now you can see well from the temperature meter that the temperature is being maintained as desired. 24 degrees during the day, 19 degrees at night. This is now necessary, as it’s only about 15 degrees in the basement 24.10.25 (Day 47) - 18:11 Nutrient solution used up, reactivated water supply

Fireproof 29.10 (Day 52): - Set the clock back one hour to winter time - 14:10 Water supply deactivated for Pot Feeding with Bio PK 5-8 30.10 (Day 53): - 07:33 AquaPot was empty, this time poured the complete nutrient solution (1l water + 15ml Bio PK 5-8) into the AquaPot (see picture) 31.10 (Day 54): - 19:57 Nutrient solution completely used up, water supply reactivated I think the plant is developing quite well. What I don't really like is the leaf color; they look somewhat dried out. I don't know if it's due to the AquaPot system since I'm not giving the plant any more water, but it just takes what it needs from the AquaPot. But the most important thing for me are the buds; they are already so extremely resinous that I had to scrub my fingers for 5 minutes after lightly weaving the branches into the SCROG net. It also smells very strong now. From now on, I'll only work with gloves on the plant. After I correctly set the Spider heater recently, the temperature in the tent now stays nicely around 24 degrees during the day and at 19 degrees during the 4 hours of "night." Monitoring with the smartphone-controlled temperature and humidity sensor for FermentBox (https://bonsanto-mini-grow-box.com/product/brokkoli-sensor-fuer-fermentbox-temperatur-feuchtigkeit/) also provides reliable data, and with Wi-Fi in the basement, it's a nice setup now. Now I just need to automate the feeding; that's the next project. 😀 According to the Bio Tabs guide for organic cultivation (https://biotabs.nl/download/organic-cultivation-manual-german.pdf), there's nothing to do in flowering week 5. I'll let the lady continue to bloom in peace.

Fireproof All good. The buds are getting stronger and stronger. It smells really strong now; when I open the tent that's in the basement, it smells like weed in the hallway for hours afterwards 😇

Fireproof It really stinks like a skunk plant 😂 The trichomes are looking good. I think in another 1-2 weeks, the plant will be ready for harvest. According to https://sensiseeds.com/de/feminisierte-samen/sensi-seeds/skunk-1-automatic, "The flowering phase lasts 45 to 55 days, during which the plants stretch less than the regular Skunk #1 and remain nice and compact." I'm currently in week 7 of flowering.

Fireproof chatGPT says about the pictures and the question "When to harvest?": "The plant is clearly in the late senescence phase of its life cycle. The fan leaves show pronounced chlorophyll breakdown patterns, typical for advanced nutrient remobilization. The buds appear fully developed, dense, and resin-rich. The visible color changes and the increasing limpness of the leaves indicate a natural end stage of the generative phase. Overall, the plant is physiologically in the final ripening and aging phase." Feel free to write in the comments when you would harvest!

Happy Harvest Day!

It was really easy to bring the Skunk #1 Automatic to harvest. I had no abnormalities at all. Just put the seeds in the pot and take care of them a little, and I estimate about 50g of end product will come out. That should last at least a year or longer again.

Fireproof Harvested on 12/5 (Day 89). The buds were wet trimmed and with stems, it was 334g. Now the buds are maturing in my Bonsanto FermentBox for about 7-8 more weeks before I test the final product. I had a power meter that recorded 360 kWh and 1861 hours 13 at the end. 02/08/26: After 8 weeks in the Bonsanto FermentBox, the final product is ready. I cut the stems again and ended up with about 70g. The weed smells really good and will probably last at least 2-3 years 😂 since I consume rather rarely.
